It's still hard to believe Colin Mcrae is gone as well as Richard Burns, it's so sad and such a huge loss to world rallying even after almost 12 years. RIP Colin Mcrae and Richard Burns you are sorely missed.
Me too, had no clue it Existed, as I watched NASCAR with my father like every weekend when it was at it’s hey day of America racing. Now I’m geeking over all the old videos, especially all the old Group B footage And especially all the missile in the thistle crazy runs!
His accent is one of the best examples of Scottish English. Slow, precise, clean cut, no Weegie moans, no strange sing-a-song tones... well, Colin's accent is what I'd define A TRUE SCOTTISH ACCENT. Never blatant, always down to earth, also a wee bit reserved and introverted or maybe simply polite. Now you'll say ... AYE. We generally don't talk loud as others would want us to (in order to fulfill the stereotype), we're shy, we're very reserved people, we generally mind our own business and if you don't know this is Scotland then come over and judge. Colin, Scottish and British (it matters much to me, and I'm no UKIP/Tory/BNP kind of person at all), a Rangers man (still matters much to me as well), I'd dare say AN ORDINARY SCOTSMAN. Like most of us. Don't trust people who shout out loud too much or go round telling the whole world about the likes of William Wallace, Rob Roy or Bonnie Prince Charlie... take a listen and a read to what Robert Burns wrote, instead, that's intimate poetry, that's the mood of Scotland, it's got nothing to share with some presumed 'history of the Celts' as if they were a whole nation... that's NOT Scotland. Scotland has a mood of its own.

Such a shame indeed. I hope we get another British World Champion someday
@@cartuner9 I hope so too it would be great to have another British rivalry in the wrc similar to the rivalry McRae and Burns had👍
This year Evens to win so fingers crossed 🤞🏼 👍🏼 2024

Just found out today Colin died with his little boy, so sad. What a great loss...rest in peace boys.
I was luck enough to see it all and still am , when McRae, burns , makkinen, sainz ,pannizi , gronholm ect were the best years hands down
One of the greatest rally drivers . The reason I watched it .
"Pedal To The Metal". My All time WRC Hero. We never forget you, Legend!
" If in doubt flat out " RIP Colin and Richard taken way too soon 😢.
Maximum attack. Absolute mad man. And still one of my idols.

Talking pish
Colin being an adrenaline junkie doesn't justify the life of his son,
He obviously went too fast with helicopter
10:55 look at the brakes 😍
thats all that left foot braking "overlapping" the gous pedal.
@@alanssnack1192 indeed
@@Edvard.Munchkin Now I have figured out how my freinds brake discs glow red, hes obsessed about rally, he must drag the brake.
@@alanssnack1192 You can bet on it haha. Cost him a fortune in brakes 😂
That's not really good but ok
Co-Pilot *NEEDS* To Re-Adjust His Seat...or Sit On Some PhoneBooks!
I can't believe he died from a fucking helicopter crash. Of all the things. He cheated death so many times in a car.
first comment....Colin we'll miss you!!!!!!!
Nobody cares about your first comment, shithead.
