Wow. It sounds like you had a blast. It sucks the show was cancelled, I would have loved to be on the show.
Here is another Fact: In Level 2 when a brainac gets eliminated they get pulled back through a paper teeth in Season 1 but in Season 2 and 3 The teeth is made of curtains.

I wanted to get on that show when I was in middle when it first premiered in September of 2009. According to BrainSurge Wiki the Season 1 episodes were taped in February of 2009.

If we want BrainSurge back, it could work as a live show.
The best place to do it can be at Universal Studios Florida where many of Nickelodeon's game shows were filmed in the 1990s. If no one wants to do Fear Factor Live, then why not "BrainSurge Live".
With SpongeBob still being known around Universal, this could be the first Nickelodeon attraction there since Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoons Blast.
Many of the Level 1 video puzzles (There would be 6, 10/20/30/40/50/100 points) can be a mixture of animated Flash puzzles, and pre-recorded footage.
The Level 2 stories will be different for each show. There are stories, and list stories.
Knockout Round stays the same.
What I notice about Level 3 is the game pods are moved to make way for the expanded 4x4 to 6x6 "Path to Victory". So this could be an interesting challenge to work through if they do 3 to 4 live shows a day.
The Brain Drain would have to be shortened to fit the soundstage size. Soap/food coloring. Contestants are showered afterwards.
For the prizes.
The prizes and consolation prizes would all be up to Universal Studios Florida.
Level 1 and 2 would be the BrainSurge T-shirts and name tags as memorabilia. Even if losing Level 3.
4x4 can be a picture frame. 5x5 can be a coffee mug or a cheap souvenir product.
6x6 could be Blue Man Group tickets or one-time use only Express passes for any ride at Universal.
For this attraction, anyone can participate. Not just 11 to 14 years old. 10 year olds could compete, even older teens, and adults can play on Brain Surge Live. If anyone can bring this to Universal Studios Florida, I would be flattered if Nickelodeon is on board.
One of my favorite brain games where I used to watch it all the time before I left for school, and when I got home from school. I even played along as well.
Watching an episode of that game show takes me back to my middle school years. When I get home, I'd cheer those kids on!!!!

Ni Mi I did at the start of the day, but not much. Once they sorted us into our episodes we were in different green rooms.

You weren't allowed to move?! In season 1, we can see that the contestant has left their chair cause the paper sometimes can't close, but in season 2, you weren't allowed to move?! How come you still can't move even though we can't see you?!

Great question! There was a behind the scenes video for the first season released which shared a casting website for Nickelodeon. I went there, sent in an application, and heard back from them shortly after.

goodvideo i would like to find 104 i have 103 on my TV even though it's not on my channel i am sorry even though 103 is not on youtube and it needs uploaded i won't my tv is almost black and white because it's a 80s one so i am lucky also on the episode Sierra completes the 5x5 at the last second and funny enough level 3 of her on the 4x4 is on the season 1 theme she has Brown hair and a pink shirt.
