Thanks for this amazing video. I have just one doubt. Why word "cloud" is there in PCE and PCF even though all RP and CP are in on premises not in cloud
I think OS v2 can be leveraged in the hybrid model. Albeit using REST API.
@vishwas can you tell me more about the shared Repsurces at 26:50 when comparing the types of MuleSoft ApI deployment
May Be an example would work
What is the alternative to shared resources in Runtime Fabric? Do you suggest having dedicated application (with a couple of replicas) exposing a REST interface to share things like common http listener settings?
Hi Vishwas, can you plz make a video on Identity management with respect to mulesoft Thanks
Hi Vishwas,
Very good Explanation. Thank you for making all these videos.
I have one doubt, Can't we avail the OSv2 services in on-prem by calling RESTapi of it?
Thank you.
Yes you can, but first you should have an app on cloud hub that's already leveraging the object store due to which you get the client id and secret using this the app on premise can acess the same object store being used by the cloud hub app using the REST.
Standalone on premise mule app without any clouhub counterpart can't access osv2
@@Vishwasp13 Fine. Got it. Thank you for the explanation.
One query sirji, here we saw about meta data sharing, so actully what do u mean by meta data here ??
Anypoint MQ and Persistent Queues - why would one use the latter if Anypoint MQ also provides persistence Messaging ?
Hi,
Can you please describe how to process multiple attachment files (PDF, Word, Excel) using the email connector in mule 4?
I'm able to fetch the content of PDF document but unable to get the content of word and excel document.
I shall be very thankful to you if you make a video on Email connector operations or provide any suggestions/help on this.
Thank you!
Nice Video Vishwas, just one confusion will PCF allows shared resources ? I mean internally apps are deployed on container only.
Yes you're right, it should not allow as it's creating containers. But I haven't tried it practically so not sure if there are work around. Thanks for pointing out.
Cloudhub- For the api that uses log4j file with custom appenders /rolling file will this log4j file be replaced by default cloud hub log4j file ?
Yes, cloudhub replaces the applications log4j2.xml file with its own file, however if you want to disable the logs and use custom appender you need to request mulesoft, this option isn't available out of the box.
