This will always be one of her greatest achievements. She just understands heartbreak and loneliness and addiction like nobody else. Her lyrics here are so painful but so cathartic. In a lot of ways, this song helped me get over a man I am deeply in love with but he couldn’t care less about being anything more than friends as we bonded over drugs.

This is the most honest and eye-opening video I have ever seen. From the un-idealized shot of her walking back after the concert, to her emotional breakdown in a cheap chair. I've learned more about the reality of being a rock star from this video than from anything else. Truly brilliant.

This song speaks to me on so many levels. It’s not just that the lyrics make me relate, it’s the way the music is, the sound of it, she was able to capture that feeling when everything is getting fucked up, including herself. I’ve been there. It’s one to the hardest things to go through ever.

This song hits me differently than most songs, particularly the verse and the vocal melody (not necessarily the lyrics). It has me feeling nostalgic and missing a time from when I was hanging out with a best friend whom somehow shared an extremely similar taste in music with me. We were *always* listening to music and adding to a playlist of songs we loved. I just know she would have loved this song.
This was a time before this song was even released, before Tove Lo was even a recognizable name.

This wasn't what I expected. She's always Little Lynx acting crazy, this is about being used. Taking drugs because it covers up those lows for the meantime. We all want that, that crazy, free manic feeling. The sad part is the comedown. Those tears are real and I think she's torn. She is a massively unique artist. The sad part is things have to be censored so alot of her free , crazy stuff makes her less likely to be taken seriously, or played on the radio. She's is so undervalued. Her albums are pieces of art. X

Gosh, she is amazing. My favorite of hers is (Habits) Stay High. Helped me through a breakup. She has such a great voice, her songs are incredible and her videos are perfect with the songs.
this song has been especially profoundly important to me for the past 4 years, in a multitude of complex ways.
as someone who was so dearly in love with someone for damn near 8 years who treated me like an object of convenience, and i was happy enough to have just that affection; the both of us caught up in person-addiction. alongside that person being a severe alcoholic and doing hard drugs.
as someone who heavily coped with being alive carrying severe repeated trauma by self-destructively medicating by heavily smoking (🍃 & 🚬) and drinking, knowing that it wasn’t safe with my prescriptions. add to that: in very dangerous places for a young woman. years spent being passively suicidal and if i went, at least i had a damn good night.
as someone who put up the world’s most convincing front that i was perfectly fine, and simply having fun. only feeling comfortable with the majority of those around me if i was cross-faded. literally unable to handle socializing without at least smoking.
as someone who has always loved to dance and dreams to be free from pain, dancing as if i was the only one in the room, knowingly captivating others and encouraging them to do the same.

sometimes i cry singing this, others i dance with a smile on my face, sometimes i just belt it, or i listen in silence feeling the raw emotions and appreciating it.
