That's a real beauty there Bob. I wanted to check these out back in 05, but my dealer wouldn't get them in because he loved the Vette mark up. I'm 6'5", so finding a good fit is hard for me. I just got my C8 Stingray, and really love it. Legroom, and headroom are amazing. The 6.2 is flawless. Mary Barra really pulled Chevy together. I would love to see a NEW 2023 Chevrolet SSR or HHR SS, or even as an EV. Could be fun.

I mentioned this on the FB post, but my dad wanted one of these. The wheels remind of Porsche "lobster claws." I bet the ute-mad Aussies would go ga-ga over this...I wonder if they ever released this as a Holden over there?
I was the same way with it. I always used no ethanol premium as well. There is also brand new top of the line Yellow top Optima battery in it as well. Only Batteries I every buy.

They are definitely getting rare. Cool as they are, and they did a lot of cool things, but nothing right unfortunately. Can't use it as a pickup, can't tow anything, they weren't that fast, the tops had issues, and the retro cool factor wore off some years back. But you seemed to have found a nice one that I'm sure the next owner will love 👍
Glad you showed your lack of knowledge of the truck on the internet🤭, you can absolutely use it as a truck(not that that’s what it’s for it’s a toy😒)…….payload is well over a half a ton(1300lbs)and I carried a full sized fridge from Ohio to michigan when I moved because that tauno cover comes completely off with just two bolts. It’s also fast around 160mph when the limiter is off with a tune and really wakes it up(462bhp-394whp). It turns head more than any of the corvettes I’ve had even when I had both side by side by far and was far better on road trips because of the massive open space for my luggage. So yeah it does plenty of things well sorry you never got a chance to experience one personally!

No. That was your run of the mill 5.3 auto. I bought that and sold it already.
