Being a Ram 1500 owner, I especially like this series.
Every time I watch your 911 videos, it re-enforces why trust no one to touch my vehicles.
You got that right unless it was these two fella, Dean and Fernando! Plus for my vehicle, I do my own upgrades so if there was a problem, it would be my fault and I can't blame anyone else.

Monster job and incredible work to bring the listening experience up to par 👏 . Dude had some good stuff but I tell anybody if it didn't go in right it isn't going to sound great. The first installation was on a decent track but they seem to get lazy, complacent or cheap and just didn't knock it out. Good job guys

Very professional install and the workmanship shows. I really enjoy the 911 fix. Shows that other installers need to step up there work when you buy a nice system you expect a great install.
This was an amazing install ,quality install you understand and have researched your products and know how to put it all together so that the customer will be extremely happy with the visual aspect and the sound aspect ,in my mind this was a puzzling install ,each vehicle will pick your brain for layout of system yet the end result is just a masterpiece for audiophiles.
That tweeter install was clean! Great job.

Man..Things sure have changed since back in the day all we did to upgrade our audio was install a Pioneer Cassette Deck and throw in some Jenson 6x9's in the rear deck and we were Rockin!😎

One change I would make, because I did on my RAM, is the fuse block position. I initially mounted my down low against the back wall as well. Then discovered how difficult it is to change fuses because of the bottom portion of the seat. I ended up making a platform the attaches to the amp board at the platform’s top edge, and is bolted to the floor with nut-serts at its bottom. The platform itself is on about a 60 degree angle that gives complete access to the fuses and doesn’t interfere with the seat. I used ABS and bent it with heat. Almost like I learned to do that right here!

Dm1000 is a 500 watt rms amp that requires an external fuse. DD even says that in the paperwork for all of the DM series amps which are there small amps
Taping is for protection. I just learned something new. But I use flex sleeve If I want to show off my wire connection that I am using for my sub speaker wire.

Love the series. And I'm planning to upgrade my speakers and add amplifier. But after watching several of your 911 videos I get paranoid...lol...that the shop I will go will cut corners on the install.... How to find a good shop and what questions will I ask to know that the shop is good. Or maybe you can recommend me a shop here in NY. Thanks

Thank you again for another great video. The 911's are my favorite, and I am addicted to the wiring time-lapse. I'm curious why the customer opted to not use the Sundown sub's and swap to the Rockford Fosgate's. Was it output? Were the Sundown's and the RF's both 10"s? I've heard good things about the Sundown SD v.4 subs and was just curious. I know in some of your 911's, the customer opts to keep/re-use components in another build, but I didn't hear why in this one.

Amazing job as always. That amp rack was a piece of art. I do have a question for you. When running multiple amplifiers and a DSP where do you normally do all of the tuning? Because I see that you put the truck back together before you set the DSP, are you making adjustments on the apps themselves or just on the DSP when tuning. Do you just set your default settings on the amps and then do everything else from the DSP?
Interesting fact about that DD mat they didnt have on good. If you roll it until the sqaures disapear you would know its put on well, saw that with many DD audio dealers not knowing this.

Very nice install and great work but dang at the room taken up by the equipment. I agree there are a lot more options for smaller equipment that would be more than adequate. One of the biggest problems I see over and over again is people don't research options and plan out their systems before buying equipment. They don't check dimensions of the space in their vehicle versus the dimensions of the equipment and I guess a lot don't know how they just buy equipment

Hey Dean and fernando, I love your work guys. I have a question for you Dean,? I have a rockford fosgate punch p300 powered sub. I have a problem with the amp staying on. Everything is hooked up properly. I believe it has to do with the inside of the box, question is can that be fixed, how to do it.
Id say this is the difference in the original install costing approx 700.00 Labor and the 5S costing approx 1800.00 Labor. But you can't take away Dean and Fernando's work, it is top notch.
Should of upgraded the subs and kept Sundowns in it. That box looked big enough for SA or U series subs

Was the tweeter in the door custom? Haven’t seen a 3 way system from the factory before.
I'm not a professional audio installer myself. But I would be ripping all that out to. My OCD wouldn't let me leave that in place. I also would run everything clean.
Question did y'all run all stock electrical to run in power the amps or did you have to add battery

What about the ANC Bypass? Does the Pac Amp Pro do that, I'm about to start my Build and have the Pac AP4-CH41, but I was lead to believe you need a Bypass Harness for the ANC also or you get some sort of Feedback.

It’s crazy if he went to a shop and paid probably a crazy amount of money and that’s what he got.
How long is a vehicle in the shop for an install like this? Is this like a 2-3 day affair, or knock it out all in one? Hard to get a sense of time from the videos.
About 3 to 4 hours of work give or take on what all your doing

How do you connect the speakers to the amp if you prewired them out if the vehicle
They connected speaker wires by factory amp. They used factory wires I n doors.

I Install the Pac Audio for my Ram and I personally don't like the Audio Quality coming out of the Pac Audio. I think my focal speakers sound better with stock radio

Why would you not try and tune what is in the truck already?
Before tearing it all apart... Tune it properly and see if the client is happy, if not then tear out and replace.

It’s hard to beat the stock harmon kardon and is not a task for the average Joe and a good dsp.I wish they would say who did these install so we could know who to steer away from them

God, this guy spent a fortune, and got all this great equipment ruined with a bad install and lame box.
That's a lot of money for poor results. Imagine thinking Audiofrog is the reason for poor sound.

Always enjoy Ram Videos. I own a 16 Ram with the upgraded Alpine setup. Sure wish you were in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas for my Ram. Any info on trusted Car audio dealers out here you might have experience or knowledge of? Thank you
