Shamokin High School Musical: Something Rotten!

I have to admit I had to look this show up before heading out to Shamokin to see their dress rehearsal of Something Rotten! And after liking the description, I certainly wasn’t disappointed in their execution of it. Far from what the name implies, Shamokin did a tremendous job of making Shakespeare entertaining and relatable to a whole new audience along with showing us how musicals came into being, well, maybe not but I’m no historian so who knows.
