I've got a Lenovo Smart Display which has Duos and allows for video chat however im struggling to find a way to get group chat to work. I can only get it to work on my phone and i cant see an option to bring other people onto the same call or set up a call with more than one other like you did in the video (and that i can do no problem on my mobile), the dream is being able to get all my family on the screen on the Smart DIsplay! Can you help at all!?

Thank you for sharing video. I have a question. When I call 8 friends, as you mentioned, the person speaking appears on the top left. The screen keeps switching. This is very annoying for us. Do you know how to stop screen switch.

I guess everyone selected for the group have to have the app on their phones? Anyway to turn volume down or mute a particular group member (the one family member that is too loud?!!!) 😄😄😄😄
I'm surprised nobody commented on being unable to add people while on a duo video call. This feature is standard on WhatsApp, FaceTime but you have to select who you want in a group chat early before making the group call. So if your in a call and decide to add someone, you can't. You have to hang up and create a new group. ???
Hi. I've been using DUO for a while. To add someone while on a group chat, inform your friends you're going to add someone but they can continue to chat. Hang up, find the contact, add them to the group and then reconnect with the chat by clicking on the group icon. Ongoing chat will show as "Join Live Call".
DUO is not as easy as other video chat apps, but you can do it. It's possible the features will improve in future updates.
Also, DUO works best if everyone is using the most updated version, especially since now 12 can chat instead of 8.
Finally, once you add contacts or create groups, you cannot remove or delete your contacts. You can ask people to leave the group once their done with the chat or you can create more groups with whomever you want or not want.
Do all parties need the dou app? My dad dont have it.

@@aylinbueno4615 I teach different batches of different classes. I have created a group chat for each batch. So, basically I just have to open the particular group chat and connect with that particular batch or class. Got it?
