This is one of my favorite maps. For those asking about the challenge, I live in a huge agricultural part of our country. I understand beginning farmer has HUGE costs getting land and equipment to work it with. The payoff comes when you produce saleable crops to pay off the start up loans and get into profit. Love watching these start from scratch videos. Keep on it brother..show everybody how it's done! When you get where you can afford your own production plants, the money starts rolling in!
that roar was a sasquatch i believe. not a wolf, at least it didn't sound like any wolf, bear or cougar i've ever heard here in the us. but it definitely sounded like a big foot call as i've heard them described. probably a little easter egg.
Enjoying the series so far. Not sure why people get so Bent out if shape about borrowing money from the bank. Very few farmers get by without loans. I think you're going about it in the right way, keeping the loans as small as possible.
I like your take on survival. Paying off a loan is definitely daunting. I'm working on a medium difficulty attempt at no mans land and it's challenging in and of itself.
This is a great series, I enjoy it very much! No Mans Land is such a cool map! The growl in the distance might be MrSealyP encounter some oddities in one of his mod reviews :D
Don't worry about the people bitching about loans. They seem to think its like printing money. They don't seem to grasp that you are just putting yourself in a financial hole that you have to dig yourself out of. Its the way of the world. A LOT of farmers have to take out loans to operate so you are doing fine.
It might help to show the challenge if you let us see the daily payment of the loan. To sort of show the "punishment". I do agree that this is challenging and cant wait to see how this goes!
19:30 You didn't have to buy a complicated instrument. This can be done with a manual chainsaw. But you wanted to buy something brutal. Say to yourself: "I can afford it."
i love people that watch and whinge about no challenge that probably dont play them selfs so the real challenge here is to igore all the whingey whiney comments, ive been playing this game since FM17 and this seems real enough to me,keep up the good vids VF
Loving the series! I started with chainsaw and a truck! No loans, no rentals, no worker's! Taken me 4 in game day to buy a small tractor! It's set on 2 day month's! And only just started silage! I'm now out of trees on my plot of land! Lol
I'm finding that making silage in the pit is more efficient labor and cost wise. I was contemplating sowing grass in the field as well but didn't want to get stuck doing the same thing over and over.
Love this map! In the fs19 version of it you could lower those big rocks with the landscaping tool, so if you would like to expand that field you could try that.
Working my way up your episodes just came across your series. Infront of the shop is 2 yellow signs on wood lost. 1 will remove all the trees the other removes all the rocks. Most rocks have terrain in them raised up to mock that they are still there but you can level it.
I have tried that trick with Soybeans, as I'd just dropped some off and the prices were good, and it really didn't work. The price for buying them from the Farm Shop turned out to be slightIy higher than they were buying them for, and I ended up making a slight loss, so I'd take those "Selling" prices for goods you'd normally be selling to them with a hefty pinch of salt.
I made here from the beginning but I think that if you put the episode number in the title it will help. It took a minute to realize that you had the numbers in the thumbnail.
Hi! @ minute 26:03 you have a extra sell point. that wa not there all this time before, could you please tell me how you did that? is it a mod? cuzz my no mans land map dont have the sell point either. Thank you.
I just downloaded this Map on PS5 and started a similar challenge and that sell point where you sold your bales dosnt exist on my map, so im wondering if silage bales cant be sold on the PS5 Version?
Messie Furgeson is a good cheap tractor in the game, but I feel like the problem is that, unless you invest a big chank of money into the model in the class category small, medium, or large, the equipment is going to give you hard time for buying the cheapest tractor.
TBH I try to avoid buying new stuff unless I need too. Money is so tight in most of my play throughs that spending money on stuff i don't need would have fairly negative consequences.

That scream tho, sendt shivers down my spine.

Can't believe people think this is easier than just being given a plot of land/tractor or even the entire map for free.

I'll see if I can go through the farm's finances in an upcoming video. Would also help to show how well we are or aren't progressing too.

Chainsaw won't deal with tree stumps unless you're using the lumberjack mod (which I'm not as I find it unrealistic).

Merry Christmas VF!
that howl reminds me of 'An American Werewolf in London' gave me the shivers when heard it playing same map fs 19.
If it wasn't for you an this video I wouldn't have known where to sell my silage bails. Thank you
Glad I could help. 😀
Merry Christmas! Your reaction to the wolf howling was priceless. It was almost identical to mine.
Not a wolf, definitely the sound of a mountain lion. Having heard that sound irl, it's as freaky live as in the game.

Cheers VF! I hope to see another episode, assuming the wolves don't eat you for supper.
Merry Christmas everyone
Loving this series hopefully many more episodes to come 👍

Great series keep them coming, thank you.
Love the videos so far the struggle is real!!
Nice series so far, VF! I like to see what set of rules you come up with for others to try ;)
Loving your NML serie. And hell yeah that was scary at the end of the vid. Keep up the good work. Cheers
rolling after planting only adds 2.5%

Loving this series; still watching VF. Merry Christmas (cameleonzzz)

sounded like Sasquatch!!!
Werewolf 😀
Great stuff. Love it
there is a front lifter attachment for any tractor without a front lifter on the mod shop
You don't have to buy a stump grinder you can use your chainsaw
That's only with the lumberjack mod.
merry christmas vf

I think the map has had an update since I played it.
Nah that was a Predator 😂
HUSQVARNA ON TOP BRO

definitely bigfoot
Have you released the savegame for Six Ashes?
I understood you. You don't want to do farming. You want to buy something new. Just like all other bloggers.
TBH I try to avoid buying new stuff unless I need too. Money is so tight in most of my play throughs that spending money on stuff i don't need would have fairly negative consequences.
@@VirtualFarmer It's ok. Your vlog has a good rating. In the future, other bloggers will read and will not do this. I solved my problem, sorry.
No one wants to watch you cut down trees and load a pickup with twigs for the first 3 episodes.
