Romans 4:17, speaks of “the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.” Many prosperity teachers latch onto the phrase “calls into being things that were not” and try to use it as biblical evidence that we can do the same thing. They misread the passage, However, Paul is clearly talking about God, not man, calling things into existence. Speaking things into existence is God’s domain.
I do nothing that I do not see my Father do.

I think the scripture that you used pertains to spiritual warfare. Scripture says:
1 Timothy 6:8-10
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1 timmothy 6:5
useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.
