We have the LG DLEX4200 dryer and it seems the WRINKLE CARE cycle does not work properly. I press it, it lights up, but it never continues to tumble after the signal goes off. What am I doing wrong, or do I need service to come out?

I hate my machine. My combo, not even a year old, either leaves clothes wet, not damp, or fries them. On permanent press, the clothes are baked with wrinkles ironed in. Synthetics are the same, which destroys the stretch fibers prematurely. Towels, jeans are wet and need to be dried four or five times before they are simply damp. It's already had one kind of sensor replaced, but not much improvement. I've checked every website I can find, and none seem to help.

I dont know what to do with all the lint and fuss or hair whatever u call it my clothes come out of the dryer because they said not o use drying sheets ugh. What is a good alternative for dryer sheets.
I share same reservations. I got one set two weeks ago and I completely hate the dryer. Even on manual dry, the flow sense will still come on causing the machine to stop. It’s really frustrating

I’m planning to buy an LG dryer with steam but I will not connect the water hose to the dryer. Simply not interested in the steam function. Would that cause a problem?

Hey there. With regard to this model WM6700HVA, this is not a dryer model but a washer model that is resemblance to the model DLEX6700B, which is a dryer. In all regards, most dryers that have the steam option, have a steam feeder in which you would pull out from the drawer and add water for the dryer to have its steam. ^Anthony www.lg.com/us/support/help-library
@@LGUSASupport You are right, I meant the dryer DLEX6700B. Would I have a problem if I don’t connect the water hose to this steam dryer?
In regard to the steam capability on our dryers, there will be no need to connect it to a water line. The unit itself has a built-in drawer in which you would add an amount water to produce the steam. ^Anthony

Hello, Fazlay. We thank you for taking the time out to share this with us. To answer your question, the cycle we recommend is heavy-duty cycle. The default dry level is normal, the default temperature is high, and the default time is 54.

This is the worst choice in purchasing a washer/dryer. The dryer leaves clothes wet, unable to increase more time, had to call several times for service, in the process of another request. Can't afford to purchase another right, haven't had this set longer than six months. LG never again!

Both my new LG dryer and washers stopped working after 2 years spend ($1600 cash). I was planning on getting a set of appliances for my kitchen and a television for my brother but will probably switch to Samsung. They offered insurance but didnt know they were going to stopped working so soon. They also offer technical support but I hate all the calling, appointments, technicians not knowing what the issue is …

I called today, and they said they will charge $400 dollars only for the dryer and another $400 for the washer (Chicago 60623). No thank you, I will instead get a $690 Samsung washer and the dryer too. What a disappointment!! I paid $1600 for both units only for 2 years of use and if I want to continue using their products I will have to pay another $800 for both units totaling $2400!! 😡

I will always let people know my horrible experience with this terrible brand. I will always recommend SAMSUNG electronics!!
