I made these for my gym, and padded the top with carpet bonded foam. Most of my guys practice barefoot. the issue I have is that these sometimes roll over. Is that common?
How thick are the screws that i should use to attach the horse stall mat? Does the head need to be big so that it grabs the mat better? Should i use a washer? Do I need pilot holes? Do you apply the finish before or after the wood is screwed together? Do you sand the edges before or after the wood is screwed together? It's a lot of questions but at least they're yes/no:) Thank you!
Cap head screws tend to grab the rubber well and can be sunk into the mat below the surface. Washers can be done but you have to countersink them. Usually sand then finish after assembly unless there are areas you won't be able to get to
The rubber is horse stall matting from a farm supply store
STURDYmade how much did the rubber cost and for how much?
This channel is so usefull... Thank you guys :D
