Maybe you're the last person awake at the house party, simply watching the sleeping city outside the window of a dimly lit kitchen, slowly sobering up after having the time of your life. Or you finally get a well-deserved break in a tight night shift, and decide to catch some fresh air on an empty street. Perhaps you are driving on a highway, completely alone at this late hour, sharing your feelings with no one but the road. Or you simply don't feel like sleeping, preferring to just be alone with your thoughts while watching the other few lights of the city - your silent companions in the darkness. Either way, this night you feel ready for some deep, reflective thoughts. Which is perfect for hearing the voices of the city. 02. Busy Mind's Inertia But even relaxing isn't easy in the city, right? After days of working, studying, partying... the mind can't just switch instantly to a calm mode. Even when everything is done, and you think you finally have some time for reflection, your brain still remains in the working mode. Still thinking as fast as ever, still calculating, still planning, still worrying. This feeling of inertia can make a lot of people very uneasy even in the most peaceful moments. So it is very important to deal with it before we proceed. 03. The Train to Someone Dear Tempo has slowed down a bit, finally. And now you can hear a voice telling you about something that is firmly tied to the life inside the city - distance. When you are surrounded from all sides by dozens of kilometers of stone jungle, you are bound to be spending many hours of your valued time in all sorts of transports - buses, cars, trams, trains. These rides often feel like they take forever, like they are a complete waste of time. But in truth it's these rides that connect you to those dear to you. They make those who are far away from us closer than ever. And if a loved one awaits me on the other side of a train ride, I will enjoy every long second of it, as the distance between us slowly but surely diminishes. 04. Longing of the Lost Butterfly We hear another voice - that of a butterfly lost in the city lights. Sadly, there is no way for her to know which of these lights will make her nights warmer and brighter, and which ones will blind her or burn her wings. All alone, without any guidance, she struggles in search of someone or something to provide the much needed comfort. But all she finds is false lights, so the butterfly has to move, once again, in a search of a better life. Again and again she has to move through the darkness to the next light, to continue her flights on wings that barely hold her. I know everything about it, butterfly, I've been there so many times. 05. Nightmare Awakening This voice is louder than the others. That's probably because it belongs to something we all tend to see from time to time - nightmare. The city is a very fitting setting for a lot of nightmares, as the most effective of them tend to happen in the borderline conditions. Balancing between hope and despair, dignity and misery, joy and grief - the city life is full of this. Nightmares are always there to remind you of the struggles - both behind and ahead of you. Always showing you that other, terrifying side of the border that you wish never existed. Even so, I've learned to respect and even like them. It is their way of making sure you are still aware of the very real challenges in your life. Challenges that, despite the fear, are meant to be overcome. 06. Desperately Shifting Flow of Time We've heard a voice speak about distance before, but this one speaks about something much more complicated - time. The most inevitable force of nature that always gets what it wants, and can never bend to anyone's will. No mater how hard you try, how much power you have, you cannot control the flow of this ever-changing force. A force that sometimes makes years pass during a single blink, but at other times it makes seconds feel like ages. And of course, the inability to grasp the control of time is stronger in the city than anywhere else. Still, despite the fact the elusiveness of time's flow, its pace always remains the same. 07. Let This Night Tightly Embrace You With this voice we come back to the idea of one of those nights. Now that you have heard some of the voices, the night itself speaks to you. It wants to tell you that no mater what struggles you might be facing, it is there to comfort you. No mater how fast the rhythm of your life is. No mater if your loved ones are far away from you. No mater if you can't find comfort in life. No mater if the nightmares always keep you awake. No mater if treacherous time slips through your fingers. The night will always be here for you, ready to listen to and safely keep all of your secrets. It will understand you like no one else will, it will never ask questions, and will remain your trusting companion. So open yourself to it, share everything that was building up inside for days, months, years... and Let This Night Tightly Embrace You. 08. Crimson Sunrise And so, we're at the end of our journey. As the last traces of darkness slowly disappear in the crimson light of the rising sun, stories of the quiet voices reach their conclusions. i remember coming across your previous album on your channel, and i assumed that since it had been so long since you last uploaded, that you were done making music. it was a pleasant surprise seeing this show up in my recommended! glad youre back
Yeah not only is my working progress is very slow in general, but I also had the worst creative block at that time, which is why there was this big gap between the two albums.
It's my go-to music video for focusing on writing, it's on the good emotionnal level for it, not too much. It's pretty solid as a background music. I prefer Winter of My Heart personally but this one is very nice too. Well done! Perhaps it will grow on me with time (like ZUN's music). Any intention to release a process video, a youtube live just for hanging around and show the process? Actually good for brainstorming too. But it completly depends on you of course. I love to create while others create at the same time, it motivate so so much.

It's very hard to top that, it's also part of the reason why I didn't record anything for so long. Just keep in mind the basics of any type of streaming takes lot of RAM ressources and a solid network in general. If someone in chat could give us their experience, because I barely know the thing myself.
I was thinking more of a guitar cam (if that is a thing), maybe there will be some guitar players interested in that part of the process. And yeah I also have to really test the capacity of my PC, really hope that it will work.
