@notoriouseagle1074 I'm assuming you're saying that because of my profile pic. Contrary to what it may be I am in no way a Chiefs fan. It is merely such due to the number which is personal to me and me only. I change it after every Super Bowl, World Series and the Stanley Cup and NBA Finals to the current or last player to wear said number on that winning team.

As a lifelong Red Sox fan I remember all too well the years of heartbreaks and near misses that we all grew up reading about then had to witness for ourselves. As a twelve year old kid I saw the epic collapse against the Mets in 1986, and in 2003 I almost didn't make it to work after seeing the Grady Little meltdown against the Yankees. Terry Francona took over in 2004 and was basically told: Win the World Series or you area failure. He was the right guy for the job at the right time, and led the Sox to two World Series titles and a great ALCS series against the Rays in 2008. He was the best manager in Red Sox history but more importantly a great guy who always did things right.

The Boston Red Sox still owe Tito a public apology for how they slandered him on his way out the door. I'm a Yankee fan who always loved Terry Francona even when he was managing for that cesspool of an organization in Boston.

Thank you from a Cleveland Sports fan! Even when you and the team killed us in 07 you did it with the class showed on TV and here in the dugout. Never gave up on anyone even when the media said to (because Cleveland sports media complain about everything, almost as annoyingly as NY) Thank you for everything HOF here comes Tito

Great video for a great player/manager/human! I hope Tito can get his health stuff handled and really enjoy (meaning probably TV work...lol) his "retirement". So glad he was with the Red Sox for those 8 years!! Best memory? My sister and I were sitting outside Minute Maid Park in Houston, waiting for our "Red Sox Destinations" tour, and Tito and DeMarlo Hale were walking into the park. My sister and I saw them, and then Tito saw us, just sitting there on a bench. His speed picked up to 3 times what it was and he left DeMarlo Hale in the dust, and had to wait for him as he held the door. It was obvious....Tito didn't want to be disturbed...and I would never have gone up to him there, my sister...well good thing he moved faster than she thought about moving...haha.

I’m a life time twins fan and my old man used to tell me how amazing big Tito was and how little Tito Terry was just as good and how he was the definition of a players coach didn’t like him beating up on my twins but it was sure hard to hate the man enjoy retirement Tito!

I hated the Red Sox from ‘04-‘13. They beat my Cardinals every time. But your greatest foe becomes your friend when you realize they the sheer greatness of the leader. Tito was that guy.
