    Hello,
I have a few questions about the documentation the IRS is requesting:
For the company letterhead and information, should it come from my current employer or the employer I had in 2023?
Should the paystubs I provide also be from my 2023 employer?
I’m also confused about the statement of benefits for retirement income. How do I obtain this information? I don’t believe I receive any retirement income. Is this document only needed if applicable, and how can I confirm if I need it?
    Any help is appreciated.

I can't see the actual notice that you're referring to, but I'll try to answer your questions in general terms.
For the company letterhead and information, should it come from my current employer or the employer I had in 2023?
Should the paystubs I provide also be from my 2023 employer?
If the IRS is requesting information related to your 2023 tax return, then you should probably come from the employer that you reported earnings from on your tax return.
Retirement income: Most likely, the IRS is requesting information related to a Form 1099-R. If you took money from an IRA, pension plan, 401k or other retirement plan, that counts as retirement income, even if you used it for something else. You should be able to look through your retirement plan accounts and ask your financial institution for any tax documents related to those accounts. If you've set them up online, you can usually also find them through your client log-in portal.

@@staysafe6446 You'd have to talk with your employer about that.

Do they mean I have to send any paystubs that have in 2024?

If this is for the 2023 tax year, I don't think so. However, I would closely follow the notice instructions just to be sure.
