Swetha, I just love your reasoning. Specially the way you hold on to options, very students centric approach! I've often seen faculties eliminating answer choices with very stupid reasoning just because they know what the answer is. But you diligently evaluate answer choices through & through. Many many thanks!
This channel and Wizako as a whole is so underrated! This is by far one of the best contents regarding this GMAT topic. Thank you very Swetha Ma'am for this video and good luck to the Wizako team on their journey! May God bless you!
What a perfect and simple way of explanation... Great job shweta mam.. I have been reading through materials and OG but it didn't get into my head ...and I somehow made the same mistakes.. the process you explained is clear and in simple terms.. please continue making more videos👏
Hello Shravya Thanks for your feedback. We have a playlist of videos for Sentence Correction. Please watch those videos at ua-cam.com/play/PL3JsYBL14ZlsxWRIU4zrFh8QUg0cilGYJ.html

Hi Wizako, Your GMAT prep material are amazing, I have completed SC section and currently looking into QUANTS . Please upload videos for RC & CR , that will really help many candidates aiming for better score in GMAT. @SWETA: one small query I have , in the first example, In answer B , it's saying 'THE UNIVERSITY' , so how are we sure we are specifically mentioning Sunshine University, is it not changing the perspective . Please clear this small doubt. Thanks again for all the amazing contents.
The explanation given is incredible. I just have a small doubt regarding the practice question 1. As you explained, choice 'D' is the correct answer but isn't that option or questioning the premises?
Hi . This video is great. Please explain this argument as well. I suppose it is a Causality reversed argument. The Calex Telecommunications Company is planning to introduce cellular telephone service into isolated coastal areas of Caladia, a move which will require considerable investment. However, the only significant economic activity in these areas is small-scale coffee farming, and none of the coffee farmers make enough money to afford the monthly service fees that Calex would have to charge to make a profit. Nevertheless, Calex contends that making the service available to these farmers will be profitable. Which of the following, if true, provides the strongest support for Calex's contention? (A) Currently, Caladian coffee farmers are forced to sell their coffee to local buyers at whatever price those buyers choose to pay because the farmers are unable to remain in contact with outside buyers who generally offer higher prices. (B) In the coastal areas of Caladia where Calex proposes to introduce cellular telephone service, there is currently no fixed-line telephone service because fixed-line companies do not believe that they could recoup their investment. (C) A cellular telephone company can break even with a considerably smaller number of subscribers than a fixed-line company can, even in areas such as the Caladian coast, where there is no difficult terrain to drive up the costs of installing fixed lines. (D) Calex bases its monthly fees for cellular telephone service in a given region partly on the cost of installing the necessary equipment to provide the service there. (E) Calex has for years made a profit on cellular telephone service in Caladia's capital city, which is not far from the coastal region. (here the correct answer is A, However I eliminated it because nowhere in the passage it is explained that calex will help the company to increase sell their produce to people from outside) Please explain this.
Great explanation, but do we really have time to analyse all this within the 2 mins that we have ? And I don't know what amount of practice will get me to cut my time under 2 mins. I am saying this because I have solved most of the OG questions accurately but not within the stipulated time per question , so I can solve the problems accurately but not in the time limit. This becomes even more problematic with RC . Is there something that we should do to better understand the meaning in one reading of the prose ? I am not sure how many others are facing the same problem.
Hi Mandar, That is a very understandable query! Initially, when you start your preparation, you will not be able to do this analysis in two minutes. That is for sure. But here is the thing Once you practice regularly, using the method of analysis and thought process discussed in the video, two things would happen - 1. The simple process of practicing makes you more comfortable solving such questions. 2. You will start to discern patterns across the questions - not in terms of content or topic of discussion , but in terms of the structure of the argument and typical traps in incorrect options etc. When you reach that stage, a CR question can be solved at around one min and 45 seconds! Focus on getting the strategy and process in place. Be it RC or CR, time management would become easier with proficiency. Hope that helps. Good luck!
For first question on art program - Just because their admission criteria has not changed does not mean the quality of students completing the program wont change. For example all IIM's follow stringent admission process, but if there is less recruitment because of decline in quality of students, we cannot say just because the admission process has not changed the quality of students passing the course has not changed. So I do not agree with option B. I would choose between D/E
Hello Team, As requested earlier as well, I request you to please upload videos of CR and RC during this time . That would be really helpful. I really like your content . That's why I am requesting it again. thanks
In thrlast question all option are negated except C ..but i didnt actually got the reason why it is true..you explained tgat its because it says stress leads to alchohol, while there is no clue in passage which support this statement.
Hello Sanjay, The argument maintains that teenagers who drink are more likely to have drinking problems in adulthood. It also says that people don't turn to drinking to relieve anxiety, they drink, which leads to anxiety. Option C contradicts that, by stating that they have alcohol at the end of stressful days. Hope this makes it clearer. Cheers.
