One thing I would like to bring to notice here is that Genesis 2:15 is the first instance of God assigning Man to work and not the verse post fall. So work is not a punishment but our intended blueprint as part of very nature of God. He loves his creation and wants to have a relation with man to take care of his creation.
Thank you sir for your careful study and teaching on this topic. It is too easy to think of worship as an activity for a short time on Sunday morning and maybe a few minutes every morning. Years ago God spoke to me from Colossians 3:23 and surrounding verses, and He has empowered me to obey His word (far from perfectly). The happy results are joy in my work and opportunities to show and tell His glories to other believers and those who don't know Him (yet). Thanks again!
4:12 to worship the work of our hands is a break from the hard labor of worship and prayer. we forget the meatiness when we dont stop to work with our hands.
