Thank you so much for posting a hard day with a newborn. My son is 6 weeks and he’s in his first leap and were struggling, it was so nice to see that it’s not always rainbows and sunshines like a lot of influencers post. I had my baby just a couple of days after you had yours and I have been following you ever since! I'm so happy you posted this because my baby cries a lot (and has been like that since birth) and when I was watching your videos, I was always wondering if something was wrong with my baby or if you somehow got ''lucky''. I love my baby even when she cries but man it is SO challenging when you can't figure out what's wrong! This video is veryyy relatable!!!
I have a 3 month old and we use a powdered formula. I would recommend the dr brown pitcher from Amazon! You can pre mix the formula and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours so the bubbles go away! Just pour into the bottle, warm it up (don’t shake) and your set! The process has worked so well for us!

@@MarissaLace people used to make fun of me saying my kids couldn’t understand me, but boy do they learn fast! How are you! Momma guilt is the worst thing ever, I’m sure you get plenty of advice but if I could give you anything else it would be to never stop being gentle with her AND yourself as a mother. She’ll get older and grow a cute 😅 little attitude they say you get what you gave and I talked so much and my oldest is a complete chatter box. Im like.. girlll I love you but I can’t even hear my own thoughts sometime lol but anyway I wish I didn’t let myself get angry and maybe that is just super normal as a human and mother but if you could stay soft that would be my advice and I mean for you to stay soft with yourself as well ♥️ much love as always! I can’t thank you enough for this. I have a 4 week old and thought she was colic because she would cry and I never see anyone else’s newborn cry that much but just turns out like you said she’s a newborn! Also I just learned to burp my baby when she would fight to latch I had no idea!

Us mama's HAVE to take them naps where we can get them. Sometimes my sweet girl just can't relax unless it's in her bouncer. I watch her and make sure her airways are clear. My 14 week old daughter also LOVES her SnuggleMe. The mom mafia is something else. I'm convinced they don't actually have children they are responsible for. I just went back to work and these vlogs keep me sane, especially while I pump.

My kids wouldn’t nap for me in anything but the swing 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ they eventually started napping in the crib. Mommin’ can be tough!!! You just do what’s best for you and your baby👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
She had a swing phase also!!!! Do what we gotta do with bb! She would only sleep in the snuggle me one of the first nights and i let her and simply stayed awake 🤣🤣🤣🤣

We got a formula pitcher online, and we just make a big pitcher of formula each morning! Then the bubbles settle by the time we need to feed our little guy!
If we switch to powder we def will get one!

You and your partner are doing great! A fed and happy baby and family are best. I remember hard days with a newborn are rough. My girl cried all day one day at 2 months. I think she probably needed more food. It was tough being a solo parent for three weeks. A trick I learned with my formula fed girl was make a big batch for the day in an easy to pour water bottle. It saved valuable time not needing to measure water or scoops. I loved the Contiago flip top 32 oz. bottle. I hope you and your family have a great day!

We import Kendamil Organic formula for our girl. She does SO well on it, it's from the UK. They have higher standards so it's much cleaner....similar to Bobbie but even better, IMO. We are still doing breastmilk and formula and she goes back and forth with no issues. Might be something to try if you're looking for something cleaner like Bobbie, but she doesn't like Bobbie? Hipp from the UK and Holle are also highly recommended brands
I have a 4 month old son and this looks just like my day lol he will also only drink ready to feed formula he shivers in disgust at powder. My supply tanked when I got my lovely period 6 weeks after having him 😒

Ughh my baby is turning 2 in 6 months now and she used to LOOOOVE pro sensitive from Similac and oh wow how time really does fly 🥺❤️ the liquid version saved me so much time ESPECIALLY those late nights/early mornings when I was half awake it’s so easy!

I use Tommee Tippee bottle for my little one, and I love them!! There are anti colic bottles that don’t have the insert tube and there are so many different nipple flows, they are also modeled after breasts!!

Finding the right formula is so hard, my babygirl loves the ready to feed also. I pump & literally only get like 5ml so I give that to her every time because something is better than nothing
You go Marissa! I also feed my baby the similac pro sensitive. She was on the liquid her first month. We transitioned her to the powder one by alternating one liquid bottle then powder through the day, it helped so much. Now she is only on the powder. It’s saved me coinsss lol

You shouldn’t use well water from a tap. Fluoridated tap water is fine if it’s cold. Hot tap water is not good as it can carry junk from the pipes with the water
At first I was like, how is this baby crying while taking a bottle, and then I realized it was my baby that was crying. My baby was born October 8th! He likes to stand up too lol

Why would u use water from a tap , babies need cooled boiled water it get any stuff out the water . Not being cheeky 25 year my oldest is down to 12 I have 5. God if midwife seen u do that in this country they go mad and our water in Northern Ireland is very clean . Tap water can cause colic , constipation etc. ask you doc I know in the us been many times and we drink bottle water. Mayb were u r is it normal to do that a subscriber no hate . Just really finds it’s strange x

My son only ever tolerated the liquid Similac sensitive formula for the whole first year. We transitioned him to whole milk at one year and he had no problem tolerating it. Go figure lol.
Also they have massive bottles of the liquid available at Costco which is much more cost effective.
