I got a error here cant fixed it myself. After using the shape builder to fill the white part, it turns out differently. Both stroke of the upper circle are gone. How can I rectified this error?
I don't see a Shape Builder Tool. (I'm using cs5). What other ways can I combine the shapes or get the fill color to cooperate nicely?
change the older and do use a newer version.
Thanks
Welcome
Thank you. What does expand do may I ask?
+Tang Andreas Chi Hei
Expanding objects enables you to divide a single object into multiple objects that make up its appearance. For example, if you expand a simple object, such as a circle with a solid-color fill and a stroke, the fill and the stroke each become a discrete object. You typically expand an object when you want to modify the appearance attributes and other properties of specific elements within it.
+hikeart thank you so much!
I wanted to ask the same question. Thx bro.
Please see my other tutorial, where I explain the "Expand" function ua-cam.com/video/V4wAVFoBq8o/v-deo.html

Hi how to move free shape tool its only stright select
for somereason i cant do shift and move them together is it probably because over the years it changed. Oh well ill figure something out
Sounds like you just woke up from sleep :D jk, great tutorial
The movement using shift key at 0:52 didnt work for me at all.... i must be doing something wrong
After selecting the two shapes, just press Alt. When the arrow changes to the sign showing that you can move, move it down. got the same problem, tried several times, and figured it out.
Thanks
