- US Congressman Gary Palmer has ripped into Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle over her failure regarding the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
“I don’t understand how you can continue to stay in the position you are in when this was a failure of historic magnitude,” Mr Palmer said during a committee hearing.
“43 years without anything like this happening, and you failed in this case in a spectacular way.”
Enough. Fire her and put her in jail. She's covering for someone.
Yeah the SS team was needing a few more females to match her 70:30 ratio. Just didn’t have any selected that would fit the expectations and didn’t want to have any males as a temp hire while they looked for good ones.
She's covering for a lot of people who "failed."

It's nothing short of surreal. She did not answer any single question. Absolutely nothing on the subject matter of interest. Then the question is - what this hearing is for? For refusing to answer anything - will it be any real consequences for her? Like, dare I say, a CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION on her personally? I'm almost sure it won't happen, so, I guess conclusion is simple - in US there is nothing even resembling democracy. There were not one but many "mistakes" which are obvious and clear to everyone, so probability of each MUST BE extremely low, so what's the chance of very improbable mistakes happen in a row, one after another?

My father gladly and willingly gave the roof of his factory to protect Presidents of any party and anyone of importance who visited our city to the Secret Service for as long as he operated in that building. This was just because the factory was on the highway where motorcades would pass from the airport into the city, at high speed on cleared highways. This is a failure. Americans are willing to provide their property to make sure no one is ever harmed.
