Most people who do not put videos out, can’t really appreciate how time consuming the process can be. There is also the added element of pressure to get the message across correctly. Biggest time consumer is of course the study element of the process beforehand. Like yourself, I have let certain elements from personal life take a backseat, which I then have to prioritise at some point. Absolutely right thing to do Dave, UA-cam isn’t going anywhere, and neither will your followers 👍
Yeh it can be "all consuming' just keeping up with the racing is hard enough, the Notebook videos take between 8 -10 hours end of the week, if it had not been a Saturday I would probably have left it, it wasn't right to rush it and just before racing a 10 min look at the selections and I knew there wasn't a winner amongst them, sometimes you know, I thought your Witch Hunter if it ever was going to win it would have been at Newbury due to it's running style, Spencer held it back far too much at the start and ultimately you were very unlucky but you know the risk with Spencer. Thanks for the support...DTS
Cheers pal, videos will still be going out just the selection videos won't be everyday 3 or max 4 a week until the end of the month, just to give me a bit of time to catch up with things...all the best DTS
No apology needed Dave, I check out three channels Mickey D,Pegasus and yourself all three of you give an insight into your selections it is then up to the punter themselves to back or not. Keep going Sir. 👍👍
Excellent, that's what the world needs, people that take responsibility for their decisions/actions and don't blame others as most do.... I inform and it is up to the individual if they act on the information...nice one pal, my kinda man.
Good luck with your garden. Lots of work to be done there ! Don't worry about the horses 🐴 people have a choice to do your selections or not. Good luck 👍🍻
Thanks for the positive feedback but I don't want people losing ££ on my selections by my errors in not reviewing what I put forward in the video. I did mess up on Saturday, hopefully they'll (like you) understand I'm not infallible and forgive this blip in my selections.....hopefully get back to some cracking winners as we had in July...Cheers..DTS
Get the electric tools out and it's not that bad,,,, clearing up afterwards is the hard bit.....Doing the fencing, now that is slow and laborious....keeps me fit lol
Respect your honesty Dave. I did feel that Saturday was a strange day for races though.Had a good day yesterday. So all good . Win some -lose some. Sometimes It pays to take a couple of days off. I see 'Ultramarine' is running today at Windsor - 6:55 at 12/1 . Cheers Dave..
Cheers pal, Saturday there were two 'good things' both around even money and maybe I should have pit them out but I went for bigger prices and convinced myself to put them out. Fresh eyes several hours later I knew I'd Fcukd. up, I don't hide behind any pretensions , it was an error due to time restraints. I do my utmost to select winners and I let not only the viewers down but myself down as well, beat myself up about it all day Saturday and Sunday, was very angry with myself...put this video out and been upfront and honest about it, it would have been the easy option just to leave it and carry on as normal but that wouldn't have been right. Thanks for the feedback and good luck this week with any bets...DTS
@@DaveTheSuit Totally understand Dave.. Your making a difference and trying thats the most important thing. I enjoy your content and still learning. Cheers Pal.
We cant always be on top form Dave, and there's only so many hours in a day. Sometimes you have to step back, as you are doing and look at the bigger picture. All the best.
Don't worry about that Dave. It's good of you to put up selections, anyone can criticise from outside. Not easy putting yourself in the firing line. York is on the go this week and you are well able to tip winners. Look forward to it, and best of luck
Pigeon pie for teas Dave, don't worry about Sat your insight in general is top class the notebook horse ran a blinder at Windsor tonight by the way, A return to all weather and or 7f will be winning soon.
I played to minimum stake as it was such a good price, got a premier coming out in the morning, every horse from the notebook series, wins, places and losses, nothing left out, bang up to date, it's a definite loser if backing them to win and blindly playing at SP but easily profit by getting bigger prices as I know you will have and being just a little choosey when to play and e/w too for some...be lucky..DTS
No problem at all Dave. Personally, I dont bet all your selections, only some of them, so yes I have missed some of the nice winners as well as the losers. I make quite a few selections of my own that don't always get supported with any of my "hard earned" as well, especially if I think the odds just aren't good enough. It's taken me a lot of my 50 years of betting on horses to realise that "If I fail to prepare, then I should prepare to fail". Having said that, there is also an element of instinct that comes into play. Sometimes, if I know other things in my life need my attention (like the garden, or some decorating, or multiple other stuff, now I have grandchildren) and my mind isn't in the "right place" and completely clear, then that is when my betting suffers, as probably, I'm not fully "on it", and maybe the "instinct" isn't quite there either. Your video insights into the horse racing game (to me) are well worth watching, win or lose. If we were all able to win all the time, there'd be no bookies at all. In reality, the bettors we definitely need are those who will bet on absolutely anything with no preparation or instinct. The bookies are in simple terms the (profiteering) middlemen who enable us to (at least try) to extract some of their profit from those long term losers. Keep up the good work Dave, but don't let it ruin the rest of what you need to do in your life. Best wishes.
Cheers Drawman your're spot odd, it's easy to let things slip away when you're focused on one thing. Yeh you do get a feel for the horses (sometimes) and know beforehand when you're on a winner or a trier and also sometimes a poor selection or non-trier. Up early this morning, coffee, look at all viewer comments then garden for me if weather holds, look at horses in the afternoon, grab an hours kip then airport run early hours for daughter, a long day ahead today.....I hate decorating lol. Thanks for your appreciation of life and how hard it can be to do 'everything' and select winners along the way...DTS
Dave not all doom and Gloom May Blossom one of your notebook horses hosed up in the 6:45 Pontefract last night i got him at 12/1 finished 9/1. One bird in the hand is worth more than two in the Fig tree.😂😂🐎🐎
I played (only SP) as I got the e-mail Saturday but couldn't remember if I'd entered it after seeing it's Carlisle run or if I'd entered it as a Notebook horse as nobody mentioned it in the comments and I hadn't put a selection video out. The Notebook horse are terrific generally to play certainly next 3 runs ....not sure about the one tonight at Windsor but I wouldn't put anyone off to low stakes..well spotted and keep the faith......nobody is infallible and I did get it wrong Saturday by not reviewing the selections before putting them up....my sincerest apology if you lost ££ on them and glad you recoup some on Sunday with a horse from my Notebook series...DTS
@@DaveTheSuit It was me that alerted you, Dave about May Blossom...remember she ran at unsuitable Catterick and we agreed the stiffer tracks suit and was down to a good mark as well for new stable.
Don't worry Dave no need to apologise everybody slips up ,god knows I have a bit of good fortune happened to me on Saturday didn't do English oak and did witch hunter missed 1st by a nose really sad then checked my coral account and was surprised to see hundreds in there without betting a penny only to realise I had picked 7out of 7 places in the free picks sharing prize pool of 25000 god bless you Dave keep on gardening and gambling 😊
Cheers pal and nice bit of luck. That Spencer is a nightmare, came out even slower than it normally does, he must have had the handbrake on at the start....think he won the next race,,,,just to rub it in for everyone that backed Witch Hunter....Cheers. DTS

Ultramarine was switched to the outside as he was not going to get a run on the rail but finished really well and going for the split between horses as well. A tad slow from the stalls originally but thats racing.Took the 12 to 1 EW so not too disappointed👍 The horse is in great shape but will he break he's turf duck before he falls away for another season.
I played BOG for small stake, ran a blinder in a slightly harder race, think AW would be best, could be well H/Cpd but might not get a price next time...DTS
