I think making the majority of the animatronic encounters scripted was actually a pretty good move. Horror games are a lot scarier when there’s tension and a looming threat, but immersion is kept. Dying brings you out of the game and subconsciously reminds you that theres no real threat, as you can simply respond. So scaring the player while keeping them alive is a great way to preserve that tension. But of course they still throw in a few sections where you have to actively avoid the animatronics just to keep the game challenging and fun
For anyone binging this series, when in rooms with staffbots in the background, pay attention to how they are posed/what changes when the mask is used. In the original game, they were portraying the Afton family in the post-it room, and in many scenes thru this playthrough i kept wondering if their positioning is just for funsies, or if it has any meaning. I'll try to watch other playthroughs as well to see if anyone else takes a better look.
Despite after what has happened with the original game. You still got to admit that this dlc has some of the most best, yet also very interesting visuals I have seen in a FNAF game period.

I really like the take on the "AR" World they implemented. It adds to the challenge as well as GIVES YOU USE FOR THE CAMERAS! Which Security Breach really lacked tbh, you could've played the regular game without using cameras at all, unlike this one. It still lacks in some aspects in the DLC but it was more in use than it's been before.

I like how one way they try to make it so you can't just keep the mask on is that having the mask on eventually starts leading animatronics to you. Makes it unlike the fazcam and fazerblaster that made it too easy to avoid threats.

The Ruin DLC has been quite interesting to watch, I'm surprised! Instead of a buggy unreliable mess, Ruin has well placed auto saves, few bugs and is more suspenseful! I find the idea of exploring abandoned, run down places pretty interesting! And I love the switching between the interesting AR world and the normal one, with the strange entity (I'm quite curious about it) watching you. The game now gives info in a much smoother way as it should, instead of pausing the whole game to give a card to close out of that will interrupt dialogue. It looks like they've learned from their previous mistakes!
FNAF will always be in a special place in my heart. However, it's unfortunate that it is starting to die, since Scott left. Thank you Scott for this masterpiece.
I just sat through and watched the entire playthrough of these, i wasn't planning on it but when i saw the ruin dlc i was intrested and knew i had to watch it all to understand the ruin parts now that i finished it im excited to watch the rest!
Honestly I love the concept of the Vanni mask and also how now that you’re connected to this network this “Glitch Bonnie” now has the means to interact with you. I feel like injecting something into your head is illegal but at the same time the company is VERY thorough with what and what not they can be liable for

After a year and a half since Security Breach's release, this is probably one of the most hyped modern FNaF games. This is so exciting, even though I usually stay up at around 2 AM, I just couldn't wait for this to drop so now I'm spending my whole night waiting and watching all the new videos and theories on the game since it's now out to the public! EDIT: After watching the video I can 100% say it was worth the hype, and as a game developer it's so cool! The effects used for the "u know what part" is amazing!

anyone else notice that at the begining of the game they were CONSINTLY hinting at freddys missing head,his poster missing his head when you first got the flashlight,this statue with his head pulled by chains after you get the flashlight,and him missing his head in the monty gold rollercoaster,once here at 2:35 again here at 2:52 AND a third time at the monty rollercoster where we see how bonnie "passed" down his guitar to monty
There are slightly glitchy effects around the objects you can ARwalk through, so it could be somewhat like illusion disks. Especially if we consider that the human mind can be really funky when it comes too very detailed illusions.
The first 10 minutes into the video, and I am absolutely impressed by how amazing all this DLC looks. I must admit, I had my doubts in regards to this game, so seeing this makes me so happy to be proven otherwise.
The first thing I noticed watching Fusion play the RUIN DLC is the performance. The FPS is so crispy. The game also loads in jumpscares and other things faster. Over all the DLC just feels put together and finished. But will see this was just the first episode.

If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure that Matpat's latest theory on Security Breach would be that the ruin dlc would be a battle between good and evil which would be fighting to take control of Gregory and I hope the next secret ending will prove that the theory is correct because the other ending don't really prove this. If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure that Matpat's latest theory on Security Breach would be that the ruin dlc would be a battle between good and evil which would be fighting to take control of Gregory and I hope the next secret ending will prove that the theory is correct because the other ending don't really prove this.
