Every time politicians and other activists on the left speak out about the issue, they get massive backlash from the people. The politicians and the media are doing what they have always done. As a true Iranian, I do stand with the people of Israel. So does any true Iranian who is not "fed" by the Islamic Republic or driving their terrorist agenda forward. Hamas is the right arm of the Islamic Republic Republic and has never supported neither Palestinian nor Israeli interests. Their ONLY interest is to export the doctrine of the Islamic Revolution that was established in 1979 in Iran by Ayatollah Khomeini, put there in power through the orchestrated regime change by the West when they tackled the Shah regime.
I lived through that regime change and have no memory of the West being in favour of an Islamic Republic. From my perspective in the UK it seemed to be a grassroots kind of thing.

He implemented land reforms giving land to the peasent class from the clerics, implemented worker co-ops where industrial workers were entitled to ownership shares in state industry and 20% profit sharing. The white revolution had many reforms people in the west would think are "socialist". There is a 60 minutes interview with the shah where they bring up a CIA profile of the shah, and in it the CIA considered the shah "a dangerous megalomaniac who wishes to build the glory of iran in his vision, and will do this at any cost even if it means invading neighboring oil fields". The CIA thought the shah would eventually run of money in his grand reform project and eventually invade other countries, There was a perception that he was no longer "under our control" in the late 70s. Thats not to say the CIA organized the revolution though, but i could see where people get that idea.

An iranian Israeli here.. last year I started studying abroad and encountered an Iranian girl for the first time ever - who has become maybe my best friend here. When we first met I asked her if she has any animosity towards me for being an Israeli and she was so quick to say "The animosity is only between our governments, never between us". I cannot express how stoked I was to get to realise how similar we are, how we both share so many things, like pride of the Persian culture and songs, and passion to treat people and do good. She has taught me better Farsi, brought me Ghaz and and Sohan from home (which eversince I still cant brush off my teeth lol), and showed massive support when my mother got diagnosed with cancer. she is and was incredible to me, and I am so proud to call her my friend. this last few week have been hard, but I know the iranian people are themselves under this horrific regime who tries to take away their voices and freedom. They can not and should not.. Too many lives have been taken, too many girls were deemed to die because of this radical vision of the Iranian government. Iran is strong, and it will survive and thrive out of the ends of the islamist regime.

We live in a part of the US with a large Muslim/Persian population We were asked to create a booth about Israel's inventions, so I made a booth about high-tech, agricultural and medical innovations invented in Israel. Surprisingly to me, a few moms came over to my booth in hijabs explaining their family were Persian. They, who still remmeber their childhoods in Iran, said they remember before 1979, their fathers would travel to Israel from Iran on business and would love visiting Israel. They said had it not been for the Ayatollahs, there would still be good relations between Israel and Iran and they said they and many Persians, at risk of their lives, express support for Israel. As a true Iranian, I do stand with the people of Israel. So does any true Iranian who is not "fed" by the Islamic Republic or driving their terrorist agenda forward. Hamas is the right arm of the Islamic Republic Republic and has never supported neither Palestinian nor Israeli interests. Their ONLY interest is to export the doctrine of the Islamic Revolution that was established in 1979 in Iran by Ayatollah Khomeini, put there in power through the orchestrated regime change by the West when they tackled the Shah regime.
I lived through that regime change and have no memory of the West being in favour of an Islamic Republic. From my perspective in the UK it seemed to be a grassroots kind of thing.

He implemented land reforms giving land to the peasent class from the clerics, implemented worker co-ops where industrial workers were entitled to ownership shares in state industry and 20% profit sharing. The white revolution had many reforms people in the west would think are "socialist". There is a 60 minutes interview with the shah where they bring up a CIA profile of the shah, and in it the CIA considered the shah "a dangerous megalomaniac who wishes to build the glory of iran in his vision, and will do this at any cost even if it means invading neighboring oil fields". The CIA thought the shah would eventually run of money in his grand reform project and eventually invade other countries, There was a perception that he was no longer "under our control" in the late 70s. Thats not to say the CIA organized the revolution though, but i could see where people get that idea.

An iranian Israeli here.. last year I started studying abroad and encountered an Iranian girl for the first time ever - who has become maybe my best friend here. When we first met I asked her if she has any animosity towards me for being an Israeli and she was so quick to say "The animosity is only between our governments, never between us". I cannot express how stoked I was to get to realise how similar we are, how we both share so many things, like pride of the Persian culture and songs, and passion to treat people and do good. She has taught me better Farsi, brought me Ghaz and and Sohan from home (which eversince I still cant brush off my teeth lol), and showed massive support when my mother got diagnosed with cancer. she is and was incredible to me, and I am so proud to call her my friend. this last few week have been hard, but I know the iranian people are themselves under this horrific regime who tries to take away their voices and freedom. They can not and should not.. Too many lives have been taken, too many girls were deemed to die because of this radical vision of the Iranian government. Iran is strong, and it will survive and thrive out of the ends of the islamist regime.
As an Iranian I hope you should know that our wonderful Iranian Jews who’ve been with us for over 3000 years are a great reason why the Islamic regime has failed in making us hate Jews for no reason, so you should be proud of both your Jewish and Iranian background that bonds us 💕

I am Ukrainian. Having researched so many historical sources within these 2 months I support Israel/ I have supported Israel from the very beginning. Despite the fact even that Israel have never helped Ukraine in our war against russia. And despite the fact Israel did not recognize Holodomor (it artificially created famine by communists) of Ukrainians carried out by russians in 1932-1933 when up to 8 mln Ukrainians died. As an Israeli and a Jew, I would like to tell all our Persian friends here that we remember the long history between our people, we love 💕 and respect the people of Persia and we support the freedom of the people of Persia from the Ayatollahs and Mullahs.
Persia was historically the home of many Jews exiled after the fall of the first temple in Jerusalem. There are Iranian Jews and Iranians have an affinity with Israel.
Persians did not take us Africans as slaves across the Gulf in the same era when Jerusalem was conquered. Centuries later Arab muslims did horrible things to us when Egytp, Carthage and Cyrenefell to the ArabMuslims, depopulated our lands through slavery and cruel deaths. As an Israeli I can testify that 100% of Israelis are peaceful people, we want peace with all our neighbors. Israel and Persia have a long and rich history. Unfortunately Islamic revolution radicalized some good people of Persia. This radicals make a lot of trouble to Israel. We know that most of Persian people are good peaceful people that suffering under the radical Islamic regime. Blessings to peaceful people of Iran, may you have free and prosperous life in Iran. Hopefully one day we will have peace and will visit each other.

We live in a part of the US with a large Muslim/Persian population We were asked to create a booth about Israel's inventions, so I made a booth about high-tech, agricultural and medical innovations invented in Israel. Surprisingly to me, a few moms came over to my booth in hijabs explaining their family were Persian. They, who still remmeber their childhoods in Iran, said they remember before 1979, their fathers would travel to Israel from Iran on business and would love visiting Israel. They said had it not been for the Ayatollahs, there would still be good relations between Israel and Iran and they said they and many Persians, at risk of their lives, express support for Israel. Thank you for this enlightening conversation.
