I listen to this song time and time again. It touches my heart every time I hear it. I chose a long rough way of life with drugs,alcohol,jail,bars,different relationships just looking for love in all the wrong places. I was 35 years old when I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I can relate to this song. I look back on my life and see that He was always there HE NEVER LEFT ME and He hasn't left you either.Cry out to God tell Him you cant do it on your own He is waiting
My friend I completely understand why you love this song! I too choose drugs and a completely different way of life bc I was a pastors daughter grow up in church singing and teaching kids try to be a role model for my friends & in one bad decision & I have myself to blame I was young and put on pain killers & the wrong boyfriend come along showed me a different way of life & I thought I was strong enough to say NO but I wasn't & I will be 35 in May and I have alot of guilt my dad & mom they are always telling me I need to forgive myself and I do. I am now sober 6yrs gonna be 7 soon & I went back to church but I let gossip run me off & instead of finding somewhere else to go I just never went back I am a mother of 2 young girls a 16yr step son who has lived with us and 2 step daughters & gonna have 3 step granddaughters soon I love my kids as any mother does & I want to raise my kids in church teach them how to sing an play music I want to put God's love in them like my parents did. Please say a lil prayer for me bc I thank God he nevwr left me when I left him...for keeping me here and that I have come away from that lifestyle but I need to learn to forgive myself and put God 1st in my life & in my heart!!!
We may back away on him but he does not leave us heis always there waiting on us to come back to him but please never turn away from him thank you Jesus
I LOVE THIS SONG.....it speaks to my heart and life....i got involved in a toxic relationship...that tarnished my walk with the Lord...and grieved me...and YET. HE NEVER LEFT ME!!!...I HAVE no one to blame...it is truly a miracle that He has stuck with me...Heb. 13:5....sandy
