- Meliá Caribe Beach Resort is a 5-star hotel in Punta Cana. The resort itself is actually really nice and you will find a wide variety of activities for every member of the family.
When it comes to food, this place is not the best, we when to the italian spot, the mediterranean spot and the vietnamese spot, aesthetically they are beautiful but food wasn't really good!

I’ve been to the resort twice and the food was not terrible. I think he is over exaggerating. The food and drinks are actually good.

Hey Man, Thanks for your video. Do you suggest Level suits in the beach side or on the side close to the lobby? I'm thinking if we book close to the beach then we may have to walk all the way to the lobby that all the night activities are there? is that true?
oh dude, thanx for this honest video. I booked this hotel for march 2022. You scare me about food and the service... might gonna eat fruits mainly and drinking strong alcohol to kill bacteria :D

I would like to know if there is a great variety of dishes for days and nights? I would like to know if they put seafood dishes?
The menu at the restaurants are à la cart, so you’re always ordering fresh. They did have some seafood dishes such as fish, salmon, and sometimes shrimp.
One of my favorite dishes is seafood pasta, but they didn’t have anything like that not even at the Italian restaurant.
As far as for the buffet I never ate there for dinner, but I had lunch and they had a lot of different things to choose from.

Uno que me gustó mucho qué es más o menos el mismo precio es el Grand palladium. La comida fue muy bueno y la discoteca que tienen ahí me gustó mucho.

I have a little question please, do you think it’s better to pay for an upgraded room later instead of booking it directly on the booking site ? I hope you understand what I’m trying to say
I feel like they might Berle expensive when you book ahead than when you upgrade directly at the hotel
Thank You! To be honest I think it would be better to do it at the hotel and just purchase the least expensive room.
For two reasons
One you can just have them show you the room and if you like it you can just upgrade.
Two would be you can negotiate the upgrades price. You can’t negotiate the price online.
To be honest I never got to see the normal room but I can’t imagine it would’ve been bad. So if you don’t like the price or you don’t like the room you can always just stay with the same room and of course save that money.
Right now especially because of Covid I’m sure they will have plenty of rooms available for upgrades.

Did you stay at the melia caribe family side of the resort or the melia punta cana adult side? do you know if you have access to both sides of the resort?

What was the price you guys paid for all inclusive? Do they have a price thats not all inclusive?
It was about $600 in total for 5 days 4 nights. Honestly a great price comparing it to other resorts.
What room is this?

Have you visited the Royalton in Punta Cana. I been to this resort in 2014 I know times have changed so I’m not expecting it to be the great experience that I had then. I’m booked for the Royalton but I was ready to cancel and take my daughter to Melia Caribe instead because the night club there was kinda litt 🔥 the food was good, the drinks was great and the housekeeping staff left Brugal on our pillow instead of chocolates. My husband ate like 15 lobster tails and steak and we closed down the bar almost every night that we was there. I thought I saw that they had a water park as well? I don’t remember everything because I was pretty twisted the whole vacation 🤷🏽♀️
royalton is brilliant i only stay at the royalton and its rilliant and the food is great,

How was the drink quality?
Drink quality wasn’t bad tbh I would say pretty on par with other resorts I have been to.

Hi man, did they do activities during the day such as pool volleyball?
Not that I seen in the days that I was there. The adults pool was pretty cool they had the kayaks but no real activities.

Honestly in all the days that I was there I didn’t really see them doing anything. At night there was the shows, but not much more.

Food is terrible at the restaurant. Service worst. Never again. They also charge me for a extra adult and I have been battling this issue since I arrive on Saturday.
