I feel, how much you enjoy the game, depends on how good a friend youre playing with. I played with my best friend, and even in the slightly dull parts, we still found ways to have a laugh.
I want to give this game dev some credit. He hyped up his game because he loved what he was working on and maybe saw it as a defy-the-law bromance sim, like a co-op Shawshank game. And whether you play it seriously or muck about to piss your friend off, it captures the bromance.
