On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, Gentaro, the eldest son of the Momotaro family, turned 11 years old.
We thought we would show his growth over the year, but we have edited the video with only footage from the first half of 2022.
January ground, indoor.
Next, it will consist of February ground, indoor, and so on until June.
And look at Kintaro, now 4 years old!

The Momotaro family were all born and raised in Japan!
Momotaro (father) was born on Jul 3, 2000
He came to the Kyoto City Zoo in 2010.
Genki (mother) was born on June 24, 1986.
I was born in Kyoto and came back to Kyoto.
Gentaro (eldest son), born on December 21, 2011

I think Gentaro will not be a Silver until he is around 13...Reasons for that is his first year raised with human and not having Genkis milk, and being raised by with his dad. Gorilla boys that are raised around their fathers take longer to become silvers, that why Momotaro became a silver so early, it was because his dad died early on. That's what the experts say...but look at Rikki Hoako's son, he is huge at 4, so there must be exceptions.
Regardless of how he was raised whether he had no father etc they are all individuals... Growth spurts happen even in humans...

To the producer of these videos. Has anyone figured out what their sign language means? I know it’s a language because they do the same signs when the parents pass each other. Like sign language it’s not signing word for word but at times can be the meaning of what we would put in a whole paragraph of words. I think the head tapping is a way to comfort themselves. Genii does it when kids are screaming and making a o out t if noise.
