I didn't realize this until the end of this last episode, but what this series was trying to teach us is that English is not immune to localization. It is like Latin, the privileged language of the world, but now broken up into ALL the Latin languages, all of them in just the last two millenia. Although with the internet age and high literacy rate, English won't die as Latin has, but there will be different languages that source from English. Beautiful series that stands the test of time.
Thank you very much for posting! I'm a brazilian lover of the English language who's found more and more reasons to love it watching theses videos. I hope that thousands, maybe milions do like I did.
This was a beautiful series that gave me a lot to think about. I think it's an amazing thing that we speak a language that has been around for so long, touched every shore of the world, and remains as the number one language of business, science, and commerce. Thanks for uploading!

Thank you for posting this series. I remember watching it ages ago and it stuck with me, so when I found it on UA-cam I was very excited.
