I remember seeing Jay Z at royal Albert hall. The first rapper to perform and sell out royal albert hall. He really did break records. I remember he shut down London in the summer of 2008 and what even more special was that he brought Nas king with him.
Great show but was it me or the sound was shit? I was about ten rows back from the front and could barely hear the orchestra. The mic was crisp but the orchestra was barely audio behind the mic and the drums.
Rap is just shit in a live setting isn’t it… Especially big venues. I get the novelty of rapping along to your favourite songs but other than that it’s always been lame minus a few special live acts like Kanye back in the day
Na this venue just aint for music of any type, nas and damian marley killed it in Birmingham back in 2010. So many blunts being lit the police just had to let them carry on cus they cant arrest everybody
Nas on his kool guy grown man... Magnificent!!!
Big Nas fan from day one. Wish I was there😢

I was there and the sound was shit. Not a great venue for his music.
@@19SPS86 yeah this venue is perfect for a political debates but not really a music place.. I still wish i was there
You said what many of us are thinking 🤔
He didn’t need to be almost 6 thousand seater show would have been dope if it was an intimate 2or 3 thousand people

i wouldnt say 'shit' but sometimes lesser quality. The Roots come to mind as being a great performance in person
I don't agree. I've always enjoyed live rap. Particularly in London venues. I remember Jay at the Hammersmith Apollo circa 2002. Epic vibes.
Live rap is great every single time. You don't know what you're talking about
Na this venue just aint for music of any type, nas and damian marley killed it in Birmingham back in 2010. So many blunts being lit the police just had to let them carry on cus they cant arrest everybody
He screwed up his own song on the chorus 🙈🫤😵💫🤦🥴
Been whack since 2nd album I never understand why ppl like him as an MC
You don’t need to understand nothing…..we’ll keep enjoying his music and you can cry on another video about him…(which is somewhat weird)
You punked since genesis
