Trip Report: Turkish Airlines A350 Business Class Istanbul to Singapore

- Join me as I fly to Singapore on Turkish Airlines A350 in Business Class.
I start off by sampling the new Turkish Airlines Business Class lounge, then look at the seats - both Business and Economy - on the Turkish Airlines A350.
I have a full review of the meals on board, with all the courses, and I sample the wine. The following morning I also sample lunch on board, and end by explaining how I bought a business class ticket for only £1,100 GBP.
I also have a quick look at the connecting flight from Gothenburg, and the lunch and seats on the A321.

Great review! Pity the ‘influencer’ spoilt the flight. Airlines should ban such people who show disrespect in that manner.
Turkish Airlines bans naughty passengers for at least 6 months. That passenger will probably not be with us for 6 months.

Great vlog! I love your humour and attention to the wine list 😄 The 'influencer' behind you would have driven me mad - how rude of him! The crew IMO should have had words with him and forbiden him to make voice calls rather than turn off wifi for everyone else - the point of business class for many is being able to work which these days means needing wifi. I'd have had to have had words with the crew about his behaviour. I've flown that seat before with Singapore on their regional A350 from Brisbane to Singapore - it was quite good but for that length of flight I'd have preferred a 777 which has a much better bed. Look forward to the next trip!

I would of told that 'influencer' to shut up along with ruining his shots of the plane with a very rude gesture. Fab review and commentary.
Very good video and review. I am so dying to know how to find who the "influencer" is. He needs to be put on blast for poor etiquette, and there is a good chance he will change his behavior.

@davesturdy Even with the blurring, you can see a smallish man with colored hair. Thinking Korean or possibly Japanese young man. But definitely not Sam Chui. I would so love to know who he is though. Tried searching with no luck.
@@davesturdy That 'influencer' is definitely NOT Sam Chui. Sam is an American. The guy on your plane wearing a t-shirt and using an Iphone to film has a typical mainland China (CCP) haircut and look to it. Sam dressed himself much more presentable as he works for an investment firm as his full time job, he also uses a Sony mirrorless camera to do his filming. Anyone using a phone with a camera lens smaller than a pinky nail is definitely an amateur 'influencer' want-to-be.

I am surprised they didn't cut you off after that much alcohol. I am also surprised you didn't get sick mixing all of those different drink options together (gin, champagne, white and red wine + beer, and triple sec)! Yuck! I would have liked to have seen your eyes in the mirror during the lavatory tour. I am sure they were solid red.
Too bad about the crashers onboard! Must have been their first time flying in a premium cabin.
Another excellent review. Perhaps Turkish could install some ejector seats for the influencers- I of course do not include you, but you do influence me😂
It is good to see that Turkish Airlines offers proper Business class seat in short haul European flight unlike other mediocre European Airlines

A non-Millennial review!! I love your narrative and, while I could do with higher bit rate video and better camera work, in the end we all know what a seat/plate of food/view out of the window look like. Such a refreshing change from all those vacuous 'look at me' vlogs. And great tip re routing too. I'm looking to fly LHR to Taipei at Xmas - any tip on a different routing that could save pounds?

Same. I hope he was banned from flying turkish Airlines ever again especially in business class. Imagine if someone wanted to get some work done and then there's this dude yelling over half the cabin and being nonchalant towards the crew and the other passangers.
I think I'll have to watch it without the sound....
Maybe a stint in the Betty Ford wouldn't go amiss...

They commence in March. And the hold up was the airline decision making not the Australian Government.
is it right, that you may get access to the lounge only 2 hours before your onward flight is departing? I'm asking, because i want to redeem miles, and the connection times are quite long, because of the availability...
I’m flying for my first time on Turkish airlines, business class May 2025! I cannot wait to experience the a350-900, as well as the new business class lounge at the Istanbul airport! I will qualify to have a private suite with a bed and desk in their lounge because I have over a 6hr layover connecting to an 11 1/2 hour flight!! I read many reviews saying how terrible the in-flight personalities, which is really sad. I hope that my crew at least smiles.🥰
Turkish airlines' business lounge is not well maintained. It is a bit messy and dirty. Also, I experienced not properly working of the automatic door of the lady's restroom. The door was closed and couldn't have been opened for 20 minutes. It was midnight, and not many people used the toilet. I was so scared inside there by myself 😱.

I would have gotten in trouble with the influencer for sure. Sometimes I´m all messy and tend to have my wine on other guests. So sorry.

Extremely good experience also had on several long haul flights with Turkish BIZ. Mostly friendly and relaxed crew, comfortable seats, gourmet food/ bev service with chef on board, super various choice at IST lounge, also in case of long waiting time. No other airline can compete, compared by the value, especially Europe towards Southeast Asia. Thanks for your entertaining video !!!

The new cabin is a great improvement and the multi-course meal service beats a lot of competitors. I prefer Asian food when flying to Asia so this wouldn't be my first choice airline but i can see why most people would really enjoy this flight.

No it's the best I rode many Turkish Airlines and it was the best.
Just because you had bad experience doesn’t mean it is a bad airline, try Indian airline. You ll see it..
Still a 787-900 in my booking but they keep changing planes like every 2 weeks! @businessclass
