      Its also a idiotic question , Same as can Russia lose the war , Both are yes and no. If all was sertain the war would not even be.. In simple way Ukraine not need to win all land back , If Russia lose Crim its enough to win this war and it would cost Putin and many of his close friends there head. So yes they can win the war if its allies keep there part of the deal and dont mess around.

    • @chrisburke624
      @chrisburke624 17 днів тому

      I don't think a US ground force HAS to enter the theatre. Some thoughts...
      - if a US ground force enters the theatre, it could very well cause a nuclear action from Russia (this isnt saber rattling, this would meet the conditions of their nuclear doctrinr)
      - if the leash is taken off of the military, and munitions kept plentiful, I imagine the Russian forces would have no choice but to fall back & reorganize within the first day or two
      - I imagine the NATO multinational brigades would be the first ground forces to enter theatre as they are nearby, trained up, manned, and understand their role in the ORBAT

Getting rid of Saddam was riding on the back of "WMD" which was, according to the late General Powell, "a clear, and imminent threat to the west". Was any WMD found? None. It was also meant to export democracy and freedom to Iraq, but all we see is massive destruction and deaths.
      20 years and 3.4 $Trillions to find Obama bib Laden? But he was in Pakistan. Barking up the wrong tree. Mission accomplished? So soon after only two weeks? Try adding another 20 years. It was G.W.Bush west dream for a quick mission that was far from accomplished.

      20 years and 2.313 $Trillions just to kill Obama bin Laden? And only found him later in Pakistan, barking and pissing up the wrong tree. If you call that a success, you obviously has a low bar. Mission Accomplished in two weeks in G.W.Bush wet dream.

      Ukraine will not take Crimea. They will need a coalition of forces. Navy, Airforce, and ground troops. Which most of Ukraine doesn't have. 😂.

  • @chrisburke624
    @chrisburke624 18 днів тому +15

    No, they can't.
    Russia has a population of 188 million vs Ukaine of 38 million. They can absorb combat losses a LOT better than Ukraine cam...

    • @xpact83
      @xpact83 18 днів тому +1

      But ukraine killed 400k russians while they only 31k. As what the propaganda says. So mathematically 18 million ukrainians is equivalent to 180 million russians. So ukraine would still have 20 million left.

    • @chrisburke624
      @chrisburke624 18 днів тому

      @xpact83 That's what the propaganda is saying indeed. Do we, as a collective of people in the west, believe that though?
      If the casualty count actually is 400k casualties for Russia & 31k for Ukraine, that would be almost an 11 to 1 casualty ratio in favour of Ukraine...
      And if THAT were the case, Ukraine wouldn't keep losing key towns and cities as the war progresses. Nor would Ukraine have to expand the eligibility for conscription from 16yo to 60yo, and disallow waivers for handicaps. (For example down syndrome used to be an eligible reason for not being drafted, but that is no longer the case)
      (So I'm thinking the propaganda is a wee bit on the nonsensical side...

      Russia lost to tiny Afghanistan and were chased out by men on donkey. At least US stayed in Afghanistan for 20 years and accomplished mission to get Osama.

      @@xpact83 Russian losses are just under 500,000 troops at this point, but that's not all deaths it's mainly injured. The Russian deaths are likely somewhere between 30,000-100,000. But yes if Ukraine is given supplies, they have more than enough people to continue to fight.

    • @chrisburke624
      @chrisburke624 17 днів тому

      @nsevv to be fair, Russia did stay for 10yrs, and bankrupted themselves doing so. They lost a lot of men & material there, and spent a relative fortune -- so much so that the west then had the strategic advantage & the economic advanfage.
      Afghanistan bled the Soviets dry.
      But those men on donkeys that chased them out had a wee bit of help...it wasn't just men on donkeys carrying bolt action rifles
