It is the first area of ​​the city to be built outside the city walls of Jaffa. Neve Tzedek was founded in 1887 in the middle of nowhere, 22 years before the founding of Tel Aviv.
The entire quarter consisted of two streets intersected by a third, and became a symbol of courage and faith because its inhabitants chose to settle so far from the relative safety of Jaffa's walls.
✴️In the Neve Tzedek quarter, low houses, narrow streets and the Suzanne Dalal Center for the Performing Arts are intertwined with the stories of unusual people who lived in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and a sense of rebirth. The neighborhood has undergone and is undergoing an amazing process of gentrification, resulting in some of the most beautiful and well-maintained homes in Tel Aviv. Artists, architects and writers live in these restored and new houses, painted in pastel colors, they maintain the creative and spiritual atmosphere of the quarter, further decorate it with their talents and works, and open and curate unique galleries, shops and cafes.
♻️The Suzanne Dalal Center is located here, where you can watch a variety of ballet performances. In Neve Tzedek, I especially liked the cat sculpture. And also “Beit Tamar” - the home of the artist and sculptor Tamar Erez. This is a very interesting building with a variety of figures.

✴️В квартале Неве-Цедек низкие дома, узкие улочки и Центр сценических искусств «Сюзан Далаль» переплетаются с историями необычных людей, которые жили в конце 19 - начале 20 века, и ощущением возрождения. Квартал пережил и переживает удивительный процесс джентрификации, в результате здесь можно найти некоторые из самых красивых и ухоженных домов в Тель-Авиве. В этих отреставрированных и новых домах, окрашенных в пастельные тона, живут художники, архитекторы и писатели, они поддерживают творческую и духовную атмосферу квартала, еще больше украшают ее своими талантами и работами, открывают и курируют уникальные галереи, магазины и кафе.
♻️Здесь расположен центр Сюзан Далаль, там можно посмотреть разнообразные балетные постановки. В Неве Цедек мне особенно понравилась скульптура кошки. А также "Бейт Тамар" - дом художницы и скульптора Тамар Эрез. Это очень интересное здание с разнообразными фигурками.
