I applaud Rep Jeff Van Drew for pursuing these travesties with Wray and holding him accountable. You cant have an agency which is not accountable and which has all encompassing investigative authority, you must narrow the scope of the bureau so other agencies can do their jobs and to avoid abuse.

There is no exception from FOIA for embarrassment. All the same, committees do not have to make a FOIA request to get records. And a briefing is not what is requested. The actual, unredacted records are requested. Wray's obfuscation does not go unnoticed.
