Ahight dude, this video is pure gold. I've never played this way in the royale, now I realize why I get beat so often. I searched for this video after failing to qualify after sinking 4 of 8 shots...I just could not figure out why I lost. Now I see, thank you bud for this video, awesome work.
And yeah, you were right, first time I tried it I didn't make it out of the first round...second time I got 3rd...veteran 3. Thanks!

I am currently in 1st for my division for Royale but I take the time to aim each shot and was so confused at how on some rounds I wouldn’t even make the first cut even if I dropped every one of my shots. Now I know why 😝 What I am wondering is you mentioned to use this method for the rough royales. Can you do this in the others as well? (Top 6 excluded).
Just want to thank you, I’ve learned more from two episodes I’ve watched from you than I did watching every video from another well known player. Thank you for explaining everything and not assuming everyone is an expert or knows all the UG lingo. Makes it so much easier.

Another great UG tutorial. One of the things that became quickly apparent is that you need a different bag for Royales as opposed to tour play or tourney.
Here's one for you Jared: YYZ 3 or Hypnotix 4 for the wedge? Think this one is a very close call.
Finally Top 6 you play differently, but you covered that in an earlier video.

When your playing in that mode does it deduct a new ball every shot you take or does it only use one for the round?
Awesome video by the way, thanks.

JA, all this is eye opening. Can't imagine how these guys are getting 14 shots off. Question, on the longer shots like short irons in fwy, I am finding the aim way left. is that just me taking to long to release or is it set up that way and I have to let it get back to center on 1 shot to have it in the middle on the next short iron?

The longer shots and quick fire is definitely what I am struggling with too! For those, I am taking a little longer and adjusting my spins based on the winds, still trying to not move the target, but then pull back to overpower and make the needle go faster, then re-center and hit perfect or great left or right depending on the wind push! Check out Webbo's youtube channel, the name of it is Ultimate Golf Game Elite. He is a master at the Royales!

Doing that technique on the lower levels might work but on pro tour you won't make it to the final round . You need Vodoo or Ninja on level 5 or above and aim your shots. The key is being able to aim and fire quickly which all the good players on pro tour can do.

I don't use backspin, that will slow you down.

Webbo is the top player in the game in Royale's. Check out his channel and you will see, that the quick fire method is in fact what the top players use! ua-cam.com/video/h5Q2AucGfUA/v-deo.html

@@patrickoreilly6477 the time taken waiting for the ball to roll is usually longer than the time taken to apply the spin

This isn’t the best advice when you get to Tour Pro levels. Yes, quickly do the backspin but you will have to aim your shot on the green and gauge the strength of your shot. And don’t always pull all the way back on your power like this guy is telling you or you will overshoot and your score won’t even make the cut. Half power should do the trick most times and you’ll land close to the hole. And the wind becomes relevant in the tour pro levels so you’ll have to keep a quick eye out for that at tour pro level. Also, there are some competitions where it’s your best 6 shots total so you should take extra time to get a good shot. When you get good you will be able to get about 8 shots in the allotted time but remember, only yoyr six best shots will tally so make sure you don’t do what this is guy is showing you. He’s giving helpful, albeit amateur, advice on lower levels but you won’t even make the cut if you do this at tour pro levels. Remember, he’s placing first with this amateur advice because he’s playing at levels where people are still new to the game and aren’t very good at it yet. Good luck, practice and you will get better.
