@@CrfMateoo it could you would just want to stiffen up the forks and shock a little and swap the clutch for the 04-05 crf250r clutch or just get an aftermarket racing clutch.
So what is the big difference between the 250x and the 450x? Some one told me the ratio of the clutch is different.. And does the 250x flame out as much as the 450x on slow technical parts?
So the Gen 2 450X and CRF450L are nearly identical machines. Honda advertises the L model as their "dual-sport" and the X as a "Trail" bike. I agree about the X being bred for desert racing. Where things get interesting is how similar these two models are. For instance the L & X share the exact same engine, transmission, and frame. Yes the L has a slightly extended rear and the swing-arm is filled with some gel but mechanically they are identical. I use my 450X as a mostly off-road "dual-sport" and because it has the 6 speed wide-ratio, it works well!
Hell no. Kickstart is for backup. Electric is for convenience. Why get tired kickstarting? I'd rather be riding. But, good to have kickstart in case of battery outage - you know, like when you're miles away from any road.
Maybe ok for mx, but lets see you finish a c class hare scramble with a kick starter lol... You'll pick up your bike 20 to 30 times if you're like most riders, then kick it 4 to 12 times each time, that gets you more tired than picking up the bike.
Technically crf250r's and crf250x's are race bikes but the x is made for enduro/desert racing the crf250r is a track only bike
Could the crf250x still hold its own on a track?

I have a 04 250x. Great bike. Don’t like the XR either.
The x models are race bikes lol, what did you think won baja 1000 numerous times
The X series bikes are still competition bikes but made for desert racing not motocross. It is not a dual sport bike which means on or off road.

You could condense the video time if you were organized and stopped pausing ever 5 words.
Correction wr250f or wr450f
what the
But the crf250r are faster
Yea but it has bad traction when climbing hills and doing trail riding the r is basically for race and the x is for trail
Should be kick start only
