I want to see her return, either in a sequel to Assault, a remake/ reboot of Adventures where she's playable throughout the game rather than just the tutorial, or a remake of Assault where she's the tutorial character, completing her Arwing training while the player learns the controls. Also, add co-op to the Assault remake. Assault was supposed to have co-op, but that was scrapped.
I remember playing Star Fox Adventures months ago and the recently leaked Dinosaur Planet prototype, and I always thought how the character looked before the Gamecube development transition. With the failure of the Wii U which also made Star Fox Zero got a bad reception (although the Switch version of Starlink: Battle for Atlas brought the series back) it is not necessary to make a new game - unless Star Fox Zero gets remastered (and removed all Wii U specific elements) like the recent Mario Wii U titles.
Deep inside all humans have a furry side. But most are not aware of it, and the damaging reputation media gave to furries makes them reluctant to admit it.

I remember playing Dinosaur Planet at E3 a year before it was converted into Star Fox. Would have been interesting to see if that would have continued into a franchise had it not been converted.
Considering the time frame and what happened after the buy-out, it's unlikely. Rare's N64-era games didn't receive too many sequels. BanjoKazooie was "lucky" enough to get a mediocre GBA platformer and a vehicle-building sequel, Perfect Dark got a mediocre prequel, and Conker got a remake that was somehow more censored on a supposedly more "mature" console. Seriously, Nintendo, a company infamous for censorship, published the version of Conker where he was allowed to cuss without it being bleeped out. It's unlikely the game would have gotten a sequel unless it was as popular as Halo or GTA.
Yes, I want Krystal to appear in another Star Fox game, we need answers to the questions not only her introduction left us in Star Fox Adventures but, answers to her story as well. For instance: What exactly was she doing with Star Wolf for all that time she was seperated from Fox and co.? How did she meet up with them? What kind of person did she turn into when she adopted the name Kursed and became a solo Bounty Hunter? How did the Krystal we know, come to be Kursed? Alot of these questions can be answered with assumptions and guesses but, it'd be nice to know how Nintendo answers these issues and more.
If we do it'll likely just be a rehash of what Miyamoto tried to pull w/ Zero. I think some character-specific spinoff titles would be awesome. Maybe a Star Wolf game that's a prequel to SF1.

Pretty interesting information here. I didn’t know Mr. Miyamoto wanted to make Star Fox a bit “more mature.” Considering the dark story Star Fox Assault had, I’m not too surprised at the revelation.
little did they know they were setting a bomb for one of the biggest corner stones for furry r34 and turning a lot of Nintendo kids to furrys (also ever noticed all the sexualized foxes in games in media? maid Marian. renamon final form. Carmelita. etc )
And then Warner Brothers gave Lola a couple of mastectomies and broke her legs so they'd atrophy and heal wrong, casting her from the throne- But her memory would live forever in the hearts of many a funky freak on the internet.
I have been into furries all my life and Lola Bunny never seems common. Something that pops up every now and again. Especially not compared to Renamon, Gardiviour or Pikachu and Eevee. Right now Judy Hopps is huge.
It's good to know Miyamoto thinks Star Fox as a more mature series. I would like the series move forward with that direction. Assault was a good step towards that direction. Command was a step back and Zero was just another retelling of the Lylat Wars. Krystal should stay.
I always liked Krystal, and i just knew she had to be inspired by imprisoned Princess Leia or something in the vain of that look (Vampirella kinda falls into that risque realm of design). I'm all about some sex appeal and badassery in my female characters! Would Luv to see Krystal appear in more prominent role in the future 👌
I find it interesting that Miyamoto wanted to make Star Fox more mature. And honestly, I would love that. Take the series A Fox in Space for example, absolutely stellar stuff.
It was already one of Nintendo's more mature franchises. Star Fox 64's backstory had betrayal and possible torture/murder, which kept getting brought up throughout the game. It's not GTA or Resident Evil, but it's certainly darker than Mario. Then again, Nintendo's no stranger to darker themes. Majora's Mask takes place in the 72 hours before the space rock-based apocalypse while Wind Waker takes place after a water-based apocalypse. Pikmin gave the title creatures some personality and then required you to use them as cannon-fodder.
@@foxymetroid I mean yeah, it's a little dark for the intro story and a few lines during gameplay. But as a kid, a lot of that flew over our heads. (at least for me) Majora's Mask on the other hand, I definitely felt that more mature vibe. And even years later did I learn how much darker some things were in it that I never noticed as a kid. And of course, Nintendo isn't too scared to throw in some dark stuff in their games. (Although they've been a little shy recently) Take Kirby 64 with the planet that pretty much is an abandoned Earth after some apocalypse. Hell, even Twilight Princess has some weird things. They definitely do it from time to time. But what I'm taking from that interview with Miyamoto is that he wanted to make it more of a Teen rated game rather than an E or E-10+ rating. EDIT: I just checked and realized Adventures and Assault are both Teen rated already. Whoops.
Zero also introduced hints of speciesism in the galaxy, but didn't really go anywhere with that. Though to be honest, it wasn't really needed and just cheapened Andross' motivations a bit.
As someone who hasn't gotten to play Adventures, Assault, or Command, I would love to see both Krystal and Panther in future games, assuming we even get future games.
Of course, when reading the full interview, I got the impression that Takaya Imamura was considering making his own on-foot Star Fox sequel, set eight years after the original, but since Dinosaur Planet was going so well, they figured "Why not merge the concept with Rare's already-working engine while we still have them?" ...and chances are some of the concepts in Imamura's original plan went into Star Fox Assault instead, since they talked a little bit about that in this interview, too.
If Nintendo make a new game for StarFox let's hope they include her begin as a good side. Gawd, I can't stand for what they did to her in SF Command. Whoever is in charge as the writer, she/he fired from Nintendo.

When it comes to Star Fox being envisaged by Shiggy as "Mature", I think that this may have to do with the grimness of the setting. The extravagant loss of life, biome destruction by war machine societies, and of course all the pilots having their legs chopped off and replaced with cybernetics to prevent them from suffering G Force Asphyxia. I think the character designer just took some liberties with Krystal and Shiggy didn't care that much by that point.
1. Star Fox 64's backstory has a Star Fox team member betray the others, leading to the very possible death of James McCloud. Throughout the game, his alleged death keeps being brought up. 2. Those aren't cybernetics. Those models were puppets designed that way to mimic the style of "Thunderbirds", a 1960s TV show where all the characters were puppets with moving mouths. The "cybernetics" thing was a popular fan theory based on an assumption and a poor understanding of anatomy.
@@wakkaseta8351 Starfox 64 was a remake of the snes starfox, and later we got starfox zero and starfox 3d. If we get another it will be the 5th version of the first game.
Even people who hate furries cannot resist her.
Nope
Deep inside all humans have a furry side. But most are not aware of it, and the damaging reputation media gave to furries makes them reluctant to admit it.

I would say the whole anthro animal thing has been around for literally as long as humankind has existed on this planet. Documented as far back as the Egyptians, the Romans, feudal Japan, Medieval Europe the list goes on and on and on. The exact nature of the proclivities shall we say can depend and maybe some of it is much more modern but I feel like yes deep down everyone has certain feelings they keep hidden.
But as I say as long as it ain't illegal and everyone's consenting it's all good.

@@foxymetroid Still, it would be the closest to Zelda that the Xbox community would have gotten.

Star Fox: Rated M for Miyamoto wanted something sexy.
Glad Nintendo has some balls
Honestly, I would like Krystal to come back. Although, who knows if we'll ever get a new Star Fox game.
Same here dude.
We definitely will
If we do it'll likely just be a rehash of what Miyamoto tried to pull w/ Zero. I think some character-specific spinoff titles would be awesome. Maybe a Star Wolf game that's a prequel to SF1.

@@Bacony_Cakes Oh yeah.

Krystal was one of the main reasons why I bought the game. Proves sex appeal will always sell.
Your statement just proves that fools and their money are easily parted, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

It shows that all you have to do is slap a hot girl on the front and people will buy even the most shallow, incomplete, or even predatory garbage. Genshin Impact's a good showing of this.
@@wakkaseta8351 i agree about the part using sex appeal to sell games, this is a very common practice specially in the mobile market, but saying a game is bad just for that very reason, it seems baised to me, i played starfox adventures and i find it very fun, there is tons of games with hot girls and still good games, most famous i can think of is the tomb raider series, also bayonetta is a very good and fun beat em up too.

Pretty interesting information here. I didn’t know Mr. Miyamoto wanted to make Star Fox a bit “more mature.” Considering the dark story Star Fox Assault had, I’m not too surprised at the revelation.
Miyamoto was probably lying about the Vampirella part, because Krystal looks NOTHING like her.
little did they know they were setting a bomb for one of the biggest corner stones for furry r34 and turning a lot of Nintendo kids to furrys (also ever noticed all the sexualized foxes in games in media? maid Marian. renamon final form. Carmelita. etc )

Unironically the best thing to ever happen to the franchise.
Considering how trash the franchise is, that wasn't a very high bar to achieve in the first place.
Not just Krystal, alongside her i also like to see those two female pilots from StarFox 2 make a return too.
With me generally liking star fox games Krystal should have more appearances, maybe just a couple parts in future games where you play as her
And thus the queen of furries was born. Sitting next to Renamon and Lola Bunny.
And then Warner Brothers gave Lola a couple of mastectomies and broke her legs so they'd atrophy and heal wrong, casting her from the throne-
But her memory would live forever in the hearts of many a funky freak on the internet.
* Gardevoir would like to know your location *
Actually, there has actually been more art of Lola recently in spite of that event.
I have been into furries all my life and Lola Bunny never seems common. Something that pops up every now and again. Especially not compared to Renamon, Gardiviour or Pikachu and Eevee. Right now Judy Hopps is huge.
I think Lola Bunny wasn't furry exclusive.
Alternate title: "The real reason why Krystal looks bangin in Star Fox" 😄
😂😂😂
I want a whole game about Krystal :)
Same here. Especially her in that tribal outfit.
It's good to know Miyamoto thinks Star Fox as a more mature series. I would like the series move forward with that direction. Assault was a good step towards that direction. Command was a step back and Zero was just another retelling of the Lylat Wars. Krystal should stay.
But not Zelda?
So it was, indeed, intentional how she would go on to be portrayed in $upah Nin-10-Doh.
Yep
You would imagine it's a reference to slave Leia, not the vampire lady.
Krystal looks NOTHING like Vampirella! Leia’s slave outfit, I get. But Vampirella? Hell no!

Man these graphics were good for GameCube. Damn
(at least for me)
Majora's Mask on the other hand, I definitely felt that more mature vibe. And even years later did I learn how much darker some things were in it that I never noticed as a kid.
And of course, Nintendo isn't too scared to throw in some dark stuff in their games. (Although they've been a little shy recently)
Take Kirby 64 with the planet that pretty much is an abandoned Earth after some apocalypse.
Star Fox more mature? the females of Lylat could have a sex appeal.
Donald Duck: Hey, what's the big idea?!
I bet those two beat their meats to some secret R 34 image of Crystal.
Shoutouts to Takaya and Miyamoto for this W
I would love to see her in her own game or in another Star Fox game. Great character. They need to keep the same design and style.
In order for Krystal to appear in a new Star Fox, there has to be a new Star Fox that isn't a copypaste of the SNES version

Of course, when reading the full interview, I got the impression that Takaya Imamura was considering making his own on-foot Star Fox sequel, set eight years after the original, but since Dinosaur Planet was going so well, they figured "Why not merge the concept with Rare's already-working engine while we still have them?"
...and chances are some of the concepts in Imamura's original plan went into Star Fox Assault instead, since they talked a little bit about that in this interview, too.
Why eight years? Why can’t they just shorten it?

If Nintendo make a new game for StarFox let's hope they include her begin as a good side. Gawd, I can't stand for what they did to her in SF Command. Whoever is in charge as the writer, she/he fired from Nintendo.
The writer was probably working for the developer, which was a third party containing some of the people who worked on the original Star Fox for the SNES, including the guy who helped developed the Super FX chip that made the polygons possible as well as a 3D game for the Gameboy.
@@foxymetroid Then explained why the writer make Krystal as a cold-hearted vixen all because of Fox wanted to protect her life by just kick her out of the team but she went to far after she join with StarWolf, dating with Panther, betrayal StarFox by left them in Katina and stole their Great Fox. Soon, later every civilians of Corneria bully her which result for her begin miserable change her new life as a bounty hunter name Kursed.

@@michaelkarimian7538 Well no its a short animated movie actually to celebrate 20 years of Star Fox Adventures.
Here's hoping she gets a spin-off or Starfox Adventures gets a remake or something
The cybernetic leg thing was just speculation based on earlier designs. It was never canon. From 64 onward it's clear they're just metal boots.
"Wouldn't it be good to add a slightly sexy character." Falco, Wolf, and Fox in the bar when the jazz music stops.
