I honestly agree. It sucks that Hyekkura and Hiinako are being restricted to the same freaking lines every single time and cant showcase their versatility.
But when compared to someone like vivi(loona), who literally breathed in so what and shuhua(gidle), who had to repeat the exact same words in hwaa, we're still blessed with hyekkuras actual phrases
No offense but having her debut in the group, on top of her receiving very bad marks in the show, they are a making a complete fool out of her. HYEWON DERSERVES BETTER. Hopefully when Izone disbands she will show her capabilities of showing her natural talent!

I mean sakura is literally ranked in second place and has a huge fanbase, she is Japanese centre, face of the group. they need to promote her as second centre but what we see. honestly, i love iz*one but line distributions like these makes me not want iz*one to be permanent. chaeyeon, J-Line and hyewon literally get no lines and screentime that it feels like its a 6 member group and its honestly sad for them to have to deal with this. i want iz*one to be permanent when they fix up stuff like these. justice for all their members, 12 is iz*one not 6.
i agree. otr never lets any other member shine besides the consistent top 6. im a chaeyeon stan and sakura stan and last era was awesome for them but other than that i feel like i never get to see my faves shine. and what worries me is if they keep supressimg the jline and hyewon they wont get to be as successful after zozi...

I really thought SSOTS was a starting point for hyewon and sakura's vocals... but then panorama came and sh*t were back at it again.... I really had high hopes for hyewon and sakuras liness in this cb....Like i can really see hyewon and sakura's potential in vocals position and cause i really wanna hear a hyewon and sakura era... Hyewon is lacking but has anyone ever considered why she is lacking? It's bc no one ever gives her lines, duh. Poor girl never friggin got her shine ever since the start of izone and I can only imagine what that did to her confidence. She was never too confident about her skills to begin with and that's why we wanted her in izone: we wanted to see her grow and be proud of what she has accomplished. Why the heck did they put our girl in the group if she's just gonna get less and less legitimate lines with each comeback?

I understand that Chaeyeon is the main dancer but she's also a lead vocal in izone so i don't understand why they keep placing her in the lower half when it comes to lines. She didn't even have lines in the chorus to dance in the front so what use is it being main dancer but not getting to lead the group??
It’s because chaeyeon is too much of an all rounder. She already covers rap, dance and she has good visuals(like all of izone). To also give her too much singing line would be over treating her. The real problem with mistreatment lies with j-line and hyewon.

Y’all really want to keep this group permanent when the company can’t even treat the whole group fairly? At this point I just say let them disband. I had such high hopes after SSOTS, but it’s clear the company doesn’t care about Hyewon. She isn’t my bias or bias wrecker, but the mistreatment has really been confirmed for me this comeback and I am so upset and disappointed for her. Chaeyeon showed us in their MAMA melody that she is capable of hitting those notes, she’s actually improved imo. But once again OTR/Swing can’t even treat her like the lead vocal she is. She is ONCE AGAIN in the bottom six. The b-sides kind of make up for it, but I am still disappointed. And J-line I just....I’m just so incredibly disappointed with this comeback. Come on OTR/SWING. Chaeyeon hasn’t really improved but she also focuses more on dancing so I’m not surprised and otr are getting in touch with the girls companies and there are rumors that some of the companies have already agreed to terms for a longer contract also justice for hyewon and Sakura

I personally think she has improved but let’s just say for now that she’s recently been able to showcase a lot of what she is capable of which is a lot more than a lot we’re expecting. I assume though that if they extend their contract, this will continue happen: they’ll push 5 or 6 and leave the rest in the dirt. Idk really about the other’s plans after IZ*ONE, but I know it’s confirmed that Chaeyeon will debut in a new WM girl group. In fact they’re meant to be debuting this year. For her sake, in order to really show off what she’s capable of I say let her leave IZONE and debut with her group. I would say the same for Sakura, Hitomi, and Nako. Let them return to Japan and be treated properly in their respective groups. Hyewon should also return to her company and either debut in a group pursue acting like she wanted to originally. people don’t understand how harmful mistreatment is. getting short lines, screentime, and centertime means less opportunity for the idol to shine. Yes, they are a group and they shine altogether, but once they disband, those who are mistreated, those who rarely sing and seen in mvs, those who are always in the back or at the edge in choreos, what would happen to them? they would be less remembered by the gp, especially korean gp. i fear for hyewon so bad because j-line are already popular in japan. the rest of the members are always seen, even chaeyeon who sometimes gets small lines but nevertheless, she’s known for her dance skills. but hyewon? with otr constantly mistreating her, what will happen to her after iz*one? this is why mistreatment is very harmful and people defending it are just plain stupid.
I see more people talking about hyewon than a lot of other girls. I do worry about her but I think that if she does end up becoming a model or actress after they disband she'll be very successful (she's beautiful and funny and she already has many fans that love her), so while it may seem unfair we will always support hyewon and one day she will finally get her spotlight that she so rightfully earned. Personally I think otr should do give the girls more unit songs so hyewon can have more of a chance to shine (small groups give each member more in distribution) until they disband and hyewon has more options.

hyewon not getting lines isn’t the main issue because sakura didn’t get many lines either, but sakura REALLY stood out in the music video whereas hyewon (a visual member) got the least amount of screen time. that’s the problem

You know I really like this song a lot giving me Roccoo vibes but the fact is that Minju is getting treated like a second center to Wonyoung and now memorable lines are going to lead vocalists and that's not fair. As I've heard in kpop, the tag line or line that has the title in it should is most time than not be given to a vocalist/sub vocalist especially if they have understand under 10-15 seconds depending on size of group. Not only Minju is now second center, not only the tag line didn't go to Sakura, Hyewon, Nako, Hitomi, or Chaeyeon once in this song. They even had to share lines in this song a lot but not to j-line and Hyewon. But the song is mostly going to get some wins and hope that no other group comes with a song as powerful and Pop-like and elegant as this song. However, we can’t really change what we got now and we just have to support them with the remaining time that they have :(( I hope someone requests for center distribution and pray that Chaeyeon and the lead dancers have a decent share of the center time because Wonyoung often takes a major part of it EVEN IF SHE IS THE CENTER

In SSOTS, she have the 2nd most center part ONLY BECAUSE all these center distributions count the part when she was sitting at minju’s bridge line and if they don’t count that one (since she’s not really the center, just bending so that minju can do her part) she will end up the 3rd or 4th. Yes she have more center time since obv that she’s the center and lead dancer, but by time, they share it to the other members more and more. So I don’t think it’s necessary to give her center part especially in this song, because she’s not the opening center and she only stands at the center when it’s her parts plus yuri’s bridge because they’re an even numbered group and sakura’s little adlib where she’s literally just being a standee
My ultimate bias is Wonyoung and Minju. But I prefer to see all the members. This is so unfair! Sakura only sang for 7 seconds. Hyewon also always gets a little part, be it vocals, or screen time. I really want to see all the members sing and have a fair screening. Wonyoung and Minju are like mastering IZONE in this MV!

If they trully shades Sakura, they would never gave her a decent amount of screen time, to be a part of dance break, and gave her one of the best styling. In fact, although she has almost invisible in the song, they still push her screen time i.e. gave her a pretty highlight screen time; gave her a dance break part for every comeback, and gave her one of the best styling. For the first time I saw Wonyoung at the top! And although Hyewon is the last on line distribution, Her stage presence is perfect! I can actually see her shine! And other member did great too

It’s because chaeyeon is too much of an all rounder. She already covers rap, dance and she has good visuals(like all of izone). To also give her too much singing line would be over treating her. The real problem with mistreatment lies with j-line and hyewon.

Y’all really want to keep this group permanent when the company can’t even treat the whole group fairly? At this point I just say let them disband. I had such high hopes after SSOTS, but it’s clear the company doesn’t care about Hyewon. She isn’t my bias or bias wrecker, but the mistreatment has really been confirmed for me this comeback and I am so upset and disappointed for her. Chaeyeon showed us in their MAMA melody that she is capable of hitting those notes, she’s actually improved imo. But once again OTR/Swing can’t even treat her like the lead vocal she is. Idk really about the other’s plans after IZ*ONE, but I know it’s confirmed that Chaeyeon will debut in a new WM girl group. In fact they’re meant to be debuting this year. For her sake, in order to really show off what she’s capable of I say let her leave IZONE and debut with her group. I would say the same for Sakura, Hitomi, and Nako. Let them return to Japan and be treated properly in their respective groups. Hyewon should also return to her company and either debut in a group pursue acting like she wanted to originally. I see more people talking about hyewon than a lot of other girls. I do worry about her but I think that if she does end up becoming a model or actress after they disband she'll be very successful (she's beautiful and funny and she already has many fans that love her), so while it may seem unfair we will always support hyewon and one day she will finally get her spotlight that she so rightfully earned. You know I really like this song a lot giving me Roccoo vibes but the fact is that Minju is getting treated like a second center to Wonyoung and now memorable lines are going to lead vocalists and that's not fair.
As I've heard in kpop, the tag line or line that has the title in it should is most time than not be given to a vocalist/sub vocalist especially if they have understand under 10-15 seconds depending on size of group.
Not only Minju is now second center, not only the tag line didn't go to Sakura, Hyewon, Nako, Hitomi, or Chaeyeon once in this song. They even had to share lines in this song a lot but not to j-line and Hyewon.
But the song is mostly going to get some wins and hope that no other group comes with a song as powerful and Pop-like and elegant as this song. Let's hope the bsides could save the album line distribution.
Edit: I just realized that the last time Minju was like a vocalist was in La Vie On Rose Era.

Personally, I agree with some other people here about how minju has more lines than other lead vocals (Chaewon and Eunbi to make a few) and it is a bit unfair. However, we can’t really change what we got now and we just have to support them with the remaining time that they have :(( I hope someone requests for center distribution and pray that Chaeyeon and the lead dancers have a decent share of the center time because Wonyoung often takes a major part of it EVEN IF SHE IS THE CENTER

In SSOTS, she have the 2nd most center part ONLY BECAUSE all these center distributions count the part when she was sitting at minju’s bridge line and if they don’t count that one (since she’s not really the center, just bending so that minju can do her part) she will end up the 3rd or 4th. Yes she have more center time since obv that she’s the center and lead dancer, but by time, they share it to the other members more and more. So I don’t think it’s necessary to give her center part especially in this song, because she’s not the opening center and she only stands at the center when it’s her parts plus yuri’s bridge because they’re an even numbered group and sakura’s little adlib where she’s literally just being a standee

I pray that they have a next comeback where hyewon and kkura has more lines, and more center parts. Sakura has been always put at the back :( she's been called back center for a long time now.

Basically Jline and Hyewon have been consistently on bottom 4 in every Korean comeback.
Why bother about contract extension if they cant treat this member better?
Still better than loona line distributions tho ㅠㅠ. Although the gap between Izone's members with most and least lines is quite far, OTR still manage to give each girl a good amount of screentime, unlike BBC.
