- After raising an unnervingly talented spider in secret, 12-year-old Charlotte must face the facts about her pet… and fight for her family's survival, when the once-charming creature rapidly transforms into a giant, flesh-eating monster. Sting is a spider-themed horror that uses inordinate proportions to create discomfort, but is the story any good? Thanks for checking out my Sting (2024) Movie Review!

Movie would be over ASAP if they had John Goodman on speed dial.
Yep. That’s right. He’s bad.
Hahahaha!!!
Lmaoo
There is no such thing as an "irrational" fear of spiders. 😵💫
Look I live in Australia and regularly have a Huntsmen spiders with a three inch leg span crawling around I call him Bruce, but in this case I'd of dragged everyone outside and snow storm not a problem the burning building will keep us warm
I liked the snowstorm aspect and that it wasn't just a John Goodman-ish vehicle about killing spiders. The best spider movie -except for Tarantula of course!
Got a early screening couple weeks ago and loved it
Bit low budget, but fun creature feature
Needed more kills
*family does not own the building.
Father's the maintenance man. Old woman owns it
Old woman is the aunt of the mom... so you know, family. 😁
Great review Chris. You are always showing me that you are a top reviewer.
I am now on episode 2 of Fallout. As a massive Fallout fan, this was a dream come true but I agree. Episode one has a lot of world building to get through before the plot gets going. Saw the Yai Guai (bear) attack and being such a gamer, I could not believe he defeated that bear with the 10mm gun from Fallout - because I never do :)
Phobia - fear of falling from heights. That is my greatest fear.
I need to see this one. I’m hearing such mixed reviews which always makes it intriguing.
Looking to check this movie this weekend after work.
Funny, makes me think of Arachnophobia and Eight Legged Freaks when i first seen the trailer. 😁
It's better than the both combined
I soooo am gonna see this. Thank you!!!!! Omigosh, it sounds so good!
It's fun... and if you're not a fan of spiders, uncomfortable!!
There’s a movie called “Stung”.. Same concept, but with a wasp instead of a spider.. It has a fantastic garden party scene, but the rest is super low budget and bad 😖
But that garden party scene 👌
I've had arachnophobia since I was 5 I think. It's a hard pass from me Chris! 😱
These type of movies are my guilty pleasure
Definitely gonna check this out
Charlotte has gone bad!
i saw the poster before the trailer and that was enough to give me major anxiety 😅
I really like spiders. Anything that kills flies is fine by me.
Will definitely be seeing this movie.
I'm very excited for the return of spider horror!
‘We’re gonna need some more FBI guys…..’? Die Hard reference? I’m missing something….i guess….
First word that comes to my mind …….ROXAAAAANEEEEE
I saw this one in a packed house....and it fell flat for the entire theater. None of the comedy and none of the scares hit. Truth be told I did not care for this movie at all. It felt and looked like a Sci-fi Channel movie from 2007 that would've went direct to DVD.
Good year for spiders. 'Sting' and 'Infested'.
Do you think the little girl is named Charlotte because of Charlotte’s Web?
I have a fear of spiders, so this movie does not even have to try hard to scare me. Lol.
I like spiders
I love spiders!!!
Yikes!
I'm an Arachnophobe and just nope! Can't do it lol😢😢
Save your money and go see Abigail
Finally saw this movie yesterday, and found it underwhelming. The acting in this movie is really really bad. The guy that plays the exterminator is the only decent actor. That said, the cgi is alright
THIS MOVIE SUCKED. I was eager to see this and was very dissapointed. Could have easily been rated PG-13. No gore that i heard so much of. No noteworthy kills for me. The movie had an identity crisis. Never saw the other exterminators, just the truck parked outside. The mean aunt should have had a brutal death shown, not the poor latino lady.
