😭😭😢 I was only 9 years old when my father decided to traumatize me and use his belt. My parents had invented a diaper like contraption which I wore every night 4 years. It was incredibly embarrassing to me that all my siblings knew about it and could hear it when I walked. Out of 5 children, I was the only one who had this problem. This was probably one of the biggest reasons I hated myself for so long. I had no idea that I was missing a chemical in my brain that would wake me up in time. So I had no proof that it wasn't my fault until after 20 years. 😢
I’m so sorry to hear that you had to go through such a difficult experience. It’s completely unacceptable that your father treated you that way. You deserve to feel safe and respected. It’s great that you’ve found a way to cope and heal. You’re incredibly strong!

I had a medical condition that for a time caused some bedwetting and I’m pretty sure it’s part of why my ex broke up with me, as it was unpredictable and I didn’t always remember my protection (diapees lol) and I think that’s part of why she broke up with me, so thank you for being so nice about something that has been so embarrassing for a lot of people
😢 I had this problem ever since I was a baby, my mom understood that I wasn't at fault but she had no control over my father or his reactions. I was accused of doing it on purpose, shamed, embarrassed and insulted by my baby brother and my father. I felt like a burden & worthless because of it and the fact that my mom had to wash everything the next morning of every day. My dad made my life hell because of it. And he decided to crush my spirit with his belt on my naked bottom when he caught me trying to change the towels one night. After he beat me, and I was sobbing, he fixed the diaper and sent me off to bed again without comfort or forgiveness or anything. I felt a deeper sense of shame, despair, anger, depression and fear than I have ever felt in my life up until then.
I never have nightmares usually js dreams abt either Disney Princess 😂 or deceased loved ones but recently, I think it was a nightmare, it was my dance teacher locking me in a room beating me up and trying to kill me 😮😬 it was scary can’t look at her the same now
