@Spelunker0211 That is not true dude, but the mistake was indeed very obvious. He said in the stream, not sure in this video, that a lot of people tend to stay on the roof and since this is a relatively crowded map with tall buildings near each other it is a habit that he has to develop over time.

After about 3-4 hours in game, here’s my first impresssions. I haven’t played CoD in half a decade, so I can’t talk much about mechanics in CoD as they apply to other modes. Just WZ. Things I like: -The map itself is beautiful. -The ping system is pretty good. It was one of few things I enjoyed about Apex, and this feels a bit like that. -The “mount weapon” system is interesting, it adds another element to movement/finding good angles. -Movement feels solid, no getting stuck on things like in pubg. -Pregame warmup is fun. -The gulag system is very fun imo, I know it makes it more arcadey than pubg fans are used to, but a second chance system that gives you some control is interesting. -Gunplay feels pretty good. More casual than in PUBG, but no complaints here. -Choice to drop solo, duo, or trio. Me and my friend did Duos last night, so it’s nice to not have to have that one awkward random. It puts you at a disadvantage at drop, but we usually fought squads that were already lower strength, so it’s fine. Things I dislike: -MATCHMAKING. The threshold for how many players are minimum before a game starts needs to be dropped to at least 120. I’ve gotten in so many lobbies that get up to 130, only to drain to completely empty because the game won’t start. Granted this was at 7-11:30 in my area, so it may have had less people on, but a f2p game in a popular franchise on launch day should not take as long to get into a solo FPP game on PUBG. Lower player count threshold. Start countdown at 120 but allow more people to join before match start. -Infinite parachutes. Choco already mentioned the problem with this. -Cutscenes at the beginning of every match. I would rather pregame last longer and then have a quicker transition to the plane. -Driving feels awful. -Jumping from the plane feels awkward and constrictive. You can’t choose to glide farther away from the plane like in PUBG, without opening your chute immediately and being vulnerable all the way down. Things I’m undecided on: -Loot system. When you kill someone, it can be hard to tell what’s on the ground without hovering over every object. May be easier to tell over time. -Circles may be a little too big at start, I would adjust their size to force more engagements. As is, you can go some matches without seeing an enemy for most of the game. -Killstreaks and perks...coming from games like PUBG and Apex, this is probably harder to get used to than for people more familiar with CoD already. Overall verdict: Fun game for me, and I hope it has some longevity. Not perfect, and very different from what I’m used to, but I’m interested in seeing where it goes. I’d love to hear what anyone else thinks if you want to talk about it or try to change my mind!
Match making waz finicky in the beginning probably because people hadn't finished download the game or started to yet or the servers were being stressed. Idk if this actually the reason but the next day everything was running smooth. Vehicle mechanics are good for me because i think we should focus on the fighting. The mechanics kinda facilitate that aspect to me better. I think they intend to make it a 200 player lobby for squads so maybe the that wouldn't make it feel as sparse. I engage with enough enemies but i understand what your saying because if you wanted to rack up some frags by being aggressive, it would be hard because the map is so big.
As far as forcing more engagements go, I disagree with you on the circle size. Part of the issue is that with infinite chutes people can go really far from the flight path and avoid the hot zones. Although I don't really have a problem with it because I feel like the majority of the players go into places like downtown, airport, hospital, and tv station, so dropping there will get you a lot more fights if you so desire!
This feels like a Borderlands. Instantly opening parachutes, looting...everything feels so arcade. There's no sense of danger for your life. Game not for me. This is just another Rambo-battlefields game

A had a huge gap in playing this kind of games and only a few years ago I've started playing shooters again on PS4. Battlefield1 was fun...But for a short period of time. Pubg was a total surprise. I was hooked. This game looks like Apex Legends but with guns. Or COD, Battlefield, whatever, but it feels so plastic for my personal taste. But I guess it's cool to have options for different kind of players.

This doesn’t feel at all like a serious BR. I mean UAV’s, stopping power, self revives/buying dead teammates, and bullet sponge moments. Pubg may have many problems but it’s truly superior as a BR

I started off PC gaming with pubg, got over 1200 hours in it, it then started crashing my PC randomly (full PC restart). It's still the best gunplay ive ever felt, but the game is stale, there's new content bring added at a snail's pace, the sound is still crap, there's still times when someone is crouching up on you and they make 0 sound, theres glitches still in the game from months ago, the game is built for tpp not fpp. It's just a bunch of tiny things, but they get frustrating after seeing them over and over and over. I just want to log on and play a game, I don't want to have to learn that there's a no lean peak exploit or that the sound of certain buildings is fucked

My first win came from self revive dude left me laying there thinking i had another team mate cause the game didnt end and i didnt die right away. (If he would have looked in top right of screen hed have known better) but I self revived and killed him blind side for the W!! Lol i was pumped. I always make it a priority now.

This does seem pretty fun, but man, the vehicle physics. Looks like a mediocre mobile game.

@@zwiebelking8748 Nah... there are plenty of competitive games that have one shot abilities and ways to balance them. Some games do cater to those salty players and if you ask me, it nerfs the skill ceiling. That being said I DO prefer more difficult games.
