Beautiful Hollywood fishing boat! This setup on a 40' Force marine DEEP V hull or a Raddon deep V triple chine hull would make a truly badass fishing boat that'll handle rough seas. I did dockside service and repairs for years. Down below can be miserably hot and humid. Even with powercats running. I finally got fed up and assembled a cooling unit with large flex hoses. that could be wheeled right up to the boat. 16,000 btu unit with a small generator. We could take it just about anywhere.

United States doesn't use battleships anymore and even if we did the engines that are in the battleships built in world War II are far far more powerful than 2000 horsepower. For instance the USS Iowa engines have about 26,000 equivelant HP each, and it has 8 of them.
Mercury has a video with them. I think it gets to 72 but not sure on the burn. There is a video with a Scout with them and they talk about burn rate and it's compatible with a 400/450hp setup(more engines)

Viking Yachts makes Valhalla - and they are selling quite well. That should tell you where the demand is when one of the quintessential offshore sport fishing yacht brands gets into the Center Console market

75mph at 0.5 MPG with a 700 gallon fuel tank. Each engine costs 77k + Rigging and Props I think it was like 1200lbs each? Could be mistaken. Could have been 2200lbs.. not sure.

No full size fridge. No full size bed. Four small engines that keep you from fishing! I'll keep my 30 year old oil burning Hatteras Sportfisher. This would be a pure nightmare on a week long fishing trip.
Zipwakes interceptors are basically more effective, faster reacting trim tabs. They're better than regular trim tabs in every way except 1.. the price. But they're worth it.
Great tour Alfred 👌 but at a price point of $ 1.6 million dollars, there are beautiful yacht options .. they may not be a center console boat but then again you can fish from a swim platform without any issues .. I dont know how many people have noticed that there is no protection from rain if it comes sideways or strong winds .. it's a poorly designed boat for the price tag .. None of the center console boats are worth buying because they are not worth the price .. why would you want 2400hp on a 46ft boat ? If speed is your criteria then buy a cigarette , if it's for recreational cruising with a bit of fishing then it makes sense to go for the European brand yachts in the 50ft range that cost less then this overpriced boat .. All the brands like Formula, Midnight express , Deep Impact , Intrepid and others are all overpriced .. also the fact that this obsession of installing 4 or 5 outboard engines on the transom is mostly for show then anything else ..
Sorry, just clocking in.... it depends what you're up to. This boat is really made to go offshore and fish Marlin. Comparatively, most marlin boats are Sport Fishers.... at least a couple million dollars for those. And some of them don't have all the amenities that this center console has... Nor can they reach the speeds. So it's a matter of, who can get to the spot first, get the marlin on the boat, and turn back in? If that's the case, most of those Center Consoles you listed would win over the Sport fishing vessels. Unless you spend about 8mil and up for more amenities and the ability to stay out for a couple weeks?
This is the first xl super high end center console ive seen that even mentioned fishing in the review, let alone highlighting the fishing related features, shame on every other boat in this category (looking at you midnight express, i dont wanna have to buy a magna rod holder filet table after dropping 3/4 of a mill on the boat)
Very nice looking boat. It also looks very well made. But is this really practical for boating or fishing? Eighty gallons per hour? That is just an insane amount of fuel. Two gallons under ideal conditions to move just over a mile.
These are often used as tournament fishing boats where speed is a factor to get you to the fishing grounds first/early. A perfect excuse get get a fast boat. Fuel is not a concern when you have money for a boat like this
Viking is becoming the Boston Whaler of the Sportfishing world. Near 2 mil for a non custom, open bow boat doesn't seem like smart money. It's trendy though, so there's that.
