Thank you so much! Now that Wanna One has disbanded, I'm searching for all the groups the members are returning to. Hotshot is the first one I've looked up, and I'm shook! They're so talented, producing and choreographing songs as much as they do and having so many golden members who can do anything and everything-- I'm so glad I found them, I hope anyone who misses Wanna One is smart enough to go find all the members instead of being sad so they can be blessed by Hotshot! Ugh I’ve been with hotshot since watch out and I just want this boys to finally get the love they deserve
ok my brief history before i become a hotple.first im an army since 2015.jimin twted about sungwoon joining pd101 & asked for our support.but i only watched their evaluation perf coz that time i can only catch up with bts & my personal life.then finals of pd101 i saw on my tl that sungwoon got in at no. 11.thank god.after months after w1 debut i still didn't mind but then i saw on my YT about sungwoon on KOMS i clicked & watched.omg his voice is 👌👍🏻👏.then i started searching for his other performances then ended watching the whole pd101.then jbj.then hotshot their old vids but not all has subs on it 😭.then just a month ago i finished watching The Unit.i also followed their soundcloud accounts bec of music.woah this was too long but i hope more kpop & music lovers as well would discover & love them.peace yall.✌

A million kudos to you for making this fun and comprehensive guide to some of the most underrated talents in the industry.
I, like many others, discovered em through produce 101 s2, and I went back and listened to EVERYTHING of theirs that I could get my hands on (but somehow never saw ANYTHING about japanese releases so pardon me while I listen to those a million times)
Most of the guides back then were rather simple, so it was a struggle trying to catch up just based on my own research
The effort and passion you put into this is so clear and I thank you because future fans will really benefit from having something so useful.
Can't wait to see Sungwoon back with em (although the wanna one departure will obviously be sad, I just have to focus on the future careers of all of them) Everyone go support this Hotshot comeback the entire album is astonishingly good YET AGAIN.

Thank you for this! I only knew about them through Produce 101 (surprise surprise) but I began to like them as a group through Jelly and then slowly got to know all the members. I knew they produce tracks on Soundcloud but I didn't know Junhyuk wrote 니가 미워! It's a great song and now I love it even more!
Did San also enter some competition or survival show or something? I vaguely remember reading/watching Timo mentioning that all his members have been in some survival show before but I don't remember the specifics.
Anyhow. Can't wait for 6-member Hotshot next year!

hii thank you for making this!! i just found out how incredibly amazing hotshot are and finally giving them a shot and with it my heart too but i can’t help but feel like it’s too late :(( ugh from what i’ve seen so far they haven’t had any comeback since “i hate you”? i think? i know they have their solo projects but do you think there’s gonna be a comeback soon? are they going to disband? i hate saying that word and it breaks my heart because i really want to support them so!so! bad + i fell in love with yoonsan and he doesn’t seem like he wants to give me my heart back HELP
mari i just now got back to reading my comments, hello! i’m really thankful you found this guide helpful. as of the last few months, hotshot have sort of been depleting as a full group. junhyuk released some solo stuff and has now enlisted, san posts on his soundcloud, taehyun is doing solo work, sungwoon is likely to have another solo comeback soon. i’m still hopeful the group could have another comeback eventually, but as time goes on it seems less and less likely :( regardless, they’ve still had a fantastic career musically.
You made this so beautifully and I would love to see an updated version. Thank you so much for your hard work as a fan.

Great Video but actually Hotshot kinda unoffically debuted before Take a Shot with self-recorded videosof them dancing with the help of the of Just Jerk Dance Crew that they put up on their youtube chanel without their company knowing
they did officially debut with take a shot, because that was when they released an album and music video with original songs that they promoted on music programs. that’s what a debut means. those videos are just pre-debut covers and choreographies.
Yeah I know that's why I said kinda and unofficale, but I think it's an interesting part of their history especially because they did and uploaded these covers without their company even knowing.@@svnshines

Sad that Timoteo got eliminated but he stood out to me so I found out about hotshot😀. Not gonna lie tho he was a bit overrated I don’t know if he deserved the S boot, I see him getting 3-5 boot.

Loved the video, the only thing that triggered me was when u said the company was shitty as f*ck. I don't think u should've said that, at least u should've said (at least in my opinion to not trigger people...) that the company should've prepared Hotshot's promotions better and should've made more research to know how to make their group stand out. But even with that, they were still a little company who hadn't produced a lot of groups (or maybe never) and were not doing very well due to the lack of money so we can't really blame them for putting their idols on hiatus. All companies and groups can start from the bottom just like Hotshot and Star Crew but at least they made the right choice by allowing Sungwoon and Taehyun to participate on Produce 101 since it opened so many doors for Hotshot after! So ultimately, they were not that bad uh ;)
