12 YEARS OLD!!!!! How?!! How does a 12 year old sing this song with this much emotion? She is a gift. She reaches right into my chest and rips my heart out jams in all the emotion and feelings of this song then jams it back in my chest and leaves behind that enigmatic smile. This is really her true gift, because there are a lot young singers that have the same powerful voice, but are unable to convey the emotion this song demands. Angelina doesn't sing songs, she sings emotions. From the darkest (i.e. Gloomy Sunday) and deepest (A Million Years Ago) to the wildest emotions, like in this song (also I Put A Spell On You), always in the same brilliant Angelina style and with the same effortlessness. After discovering Angelina Jordan 5 years ago now I have never get tired of listening to her, heard this particular performance maybe a 100 times and I'm still chocked of such a powerful and soulful voice of this unbelievably amazing young lady. What's amazing is Angelina surely had to invest some practice time with this enormous band. In other settings, surely she had to invest practice time with her guitarist Egil and her other guitarist Ivan. Then there's the practice time she must have spent with her quartet, or her other quartet. My point is, it's not like she's the lead singer of a band and works with the same people day in and day out until a song is perfected in a studio. She just walks out there and slays. She owns the stage, or the chair, or the mic, or the church, or the beach, or the sand flats... how does she do it!? All while being a child. This girl... incomprehensible.

Loved this O’Meezy! I don’t know about the others who knew what was coming, but for me this felt a little bit like an ambush 😂😂. I love this performance. That’s a powerful military band behind her and she just said. “Please just stand behind me, ladies and gentleman. I have watched many female singers attacking this song. Many did very well, don't get me wrong, but most of them looked like they had to contort themself, either facially or bodily, to pump out those powerful high notes. Angelina, here, just gently swayed side to side, barefoot tapping the stage, and just let it loose. Nothing to it. Just another day in the office. Also, I really enjoy some of those sounds (for example at 2:13). Very beautiful. Very Angelina. Many of Angelina fans describing her singing this way... "she sings in 3D", if that makes any sense.

However in 2015 a young 17 year old Louisa Johnson gave a very powerful rendition of this song on the X Factor (Simon Cowell ) She covered Michael Jacksons "Who's loving you, "Billie Jean" the Beach Boys "God only knows" She went on to win the X factor that year and seamed to be destined for Super Stardom. Well six years later she has all but dissappeared. Granted I don't think she was as talented as Angelina but i am fearful that Angelina seems to be stuck in that same " Twilight Zone" I am hoping like hell I am wrong. There is nothing to compare between the 2 versions. Despite being recorded by phone Angelina's performance is a masterpiece. I wasn't much impressed by the one from Diana. This iconic song looks like a Broadway musical the way she did it.

There is nothing to compare between the 2 versions. Despite being recorded by phone Angelina's performance is a masterpiece. I wasn't much impressed by the one from Diana. This iconic song looks like a Broadway musical the way she did it.
