Were the Black Market Keys bought? No keys were bought - all I did was save up my keys from watching ads etc and waited for the 200% Superchest boost.

Something to also add which I realized after I had recorded… after I had saved up my keys when I did my opening there was also a Leaderboard happening. For that leaderboard you earned points not only in battle but opening up Black Market Chests. I ended up coming first and earned a Data Pad but also one Upgrade Token. What do I take away from this? As a free player you want to save up your keys until the end of the Black Market Season. Wait for the 200% Superchest boost if possible and hope there's a Black Market Leaderboard happening - if there is your chances are pretty good at getting prizes from that.
Adrian please give your side of the petition. Predator posted a video today about it.

@@Horizon_854 No thanks. What you saw in Predator's video pretty much sums up most. If there's one thing I hate it's drama. I rather spend that time and effort into something more constructive.
When I started playing Walking War Robots, I played it because I liked robots and the idea of killing robots on the battlefield. It reminded me of chess and also Quake when I use to play that game many years ago. This is why I created content for Walking War Robots. As my channel grew, more needed help with builds and their hangar so this is what I did. I don't want my channel to become a tool to direct hatred towards others or to perhaps use it for views. Yes views are important and yes I probably could get all dramatic about things but that's not why I built my channel in the first place.
All this drama that's going on right now is really sad to see. You know most people who play games in general play games to escape the stresses of every day life. If you don't like the game whether it be War Robots or any other game then just stop playing it and find something else. Yes there are players that have invested a lot of time and money into it - I get that. But the reality is that it's like that for any other game. You could have spent a fortune on this game or maybe another game with tons of hours but when you get bored you mean to tell me it was still "worth it"? The result will be the same - you will stop playing it and move on to something else and the cycle will continue.
I play a game because it makes me happy and I have fun with it. Look at my Fortnite channel for example. No one really follows me but yet I've been live streaming pretty much every night for the past 1.5 years. I don't really get paid much on there btw so it's obviously not for views but I enjoy it and I have fun playing the game.
@@EyesOn-Me I'm actually upgrading one of those weapons right now. I have one already at Mk1 level 9 and another one MK1 level 6 going on 7. I believe I have 3 so far and want to run them on Ravana to see how they perform.

I still won because I was helping the stronger players on my team hold down those beacons. I played my role and we all benefit. I know what to expect and I know my limitations with my hangar but I still play it the best I possibly can. I don't expect to win every game nor do I expect to win every battle - this is part of it. To grow stronger as a player you must play stronger players. This goes for any other game as well.
@@adrianchongbeacons are a f2p person's best friend, our team was able to beat 3 champions with all mk 3-2 robots by capping the beacons,and I am in expert 1, great video tho, I love how calm your voice is

I opened up 4 super chests during the 200% special. All bad bots. Oh well, I guess selling them for 13 million silvers is something.
Yep I use that silver and just pour it into upgrades when we have the Upgrade Events. I really need to go through my pilots especially because I'm pretty sure I could pick up maybe 20 million just from that alone lol.
They should separate Motherships, Titans, weapons, etc so we actually get what we want. Have like 10 useless pilots of the same for robots I don't have. Same Motherships. At certain level no reason to still get Dread-crap components when I already have other Motherships maxed. Idk 🤦♂😏😁

@@ibrahimkyle Definitely Redeemers. Viper weapons really aren't good and neither are the other corrosion weapons like Toxin, Venom, Bane, Wasp, Sting etc. This doesn't mean they're bad and you should sell them. I would keep them and rather focus on those Redeemers or even something like Puncher or Hammers.

I made the biggest Black Market unboxing ever and I didn't get a Cryptic Fenrir. All I got are another Cruel Angler, a Nether (I hate its nerf), and another Unknown Seraph. After the unboxing with faster speed, later, I won another Harpy. The only lucky prize I thought I have is Warren Ozu and that will force me to create an Ares build which is great.

Bro watching this just makes me so happy tysm adrian for telling everyone to actually save up and spend on the 200% i been telling everyone i can that and one more thing I wanna tell u is that u should open ur keys all at once rather than singles i saw that when u spend things at once u get better prizes rather than singles and another thing i was able to spend 17k keys!!! I got my first ever 4 super chests all f2p i was so happy lol i hope u one day be able to get the same stuff ❤
I think I need to play more for me to get that many on this account but yes it's definitely possible. Also I noticed there was a Leaderboard at the time and I came first because of how I did the Black Market keys. This is how I picked up not only a Data Pad (I think it was red) but also an Upgrade Token. I now have 8 Upgrade Tokens saved up lol.

You can even get 3 super chests if you open them up on 1.5x or 2x plus getting extra keys from extermintation
Check the Operations Pass E and R when it first starts and then check again in 3 or 4 days and you will see they advertise almost double the stuff. But don't purchase without screenshot or you will only get fraction of the stuff

Indra is better. I think Indra is more likely to survive multiple metas especially when you consider it's ability - it has an ability similar to Ravana and Ravana has survived pretty much every meta after it was initially released which is quite impressive when compared to other bots.

It's actually not 250 keys. It's 350 keys a day which works out to be 350 x 30 = 10,500/month although I didn't collect all. This does not include extra keys from Extermination, the Supply Line or what you may earn when playing the game.
Great video, Adrian! Nice of you showing people that we free players actually have a lot of resources to improve our hangers. The key chests are the best way to get good equipment right now, and if you are patient and make use of the leadeboards, you are awarded with it even more.
Untirtunely the rewards from PVE mode were nerfed, but you can still get a lot of resources easily there, keys included.
And again, if you are patient enough, you can store platinum that you get from missions and annihilation, and upgrade your titan only when there is a leadeboard focused on it. The brazilian channel Academia War Robots Brasil has made videos showing how to get even ULTIMATE datapads as a free player. You can get one every event by saving about 5k platinum and spending only when a leadboard and a 25% discount are active.
Honestly, the game feels way better compared to we've had it for quite some time. And I'm not new here, have been here for 9 years.
It would be great to see more videos like this, and maybe saving the platinum to get an ultimate datapad as I just told. It would be a great content.

wen u get snaer as first prize..... i hate how those weapons got nerfed they were so cool, honestly fafnir and skadi/hel/snaer probably got one of the hardest nerfs which sucks because those were some of my favourite additions
I have a video on the Hel coming up. Those weapons were actually buffed +15% recently.
I can actually give credit to pixonic for the nuclear amps n repair amp. I spent plenty in the past but got those "must have" items for absolutely nothing n not just a few I got way more than I'll ever need which is great it's almost like I could have over invested upgrading those but tried been smart n just did 5 of each n kept a few spares. My old last stand n anticontrols are still plenty good enough to make up the rest rdy for whatever change is next. Felt sorry for those that upgraded 3x overdrive on every bot in the last meta n now they got completely replaced but could be worse- it could have been me 😅
What's weird is that we can buy Nuclear Amplifiers but I don't think we can buy Repair Amplifiers or Immune Amplifiers.
I have been watching a lot of openings and ive been noticing the same type of weapons beings given suspiciously frequently

Would you have ditched if your Arthur was at lower hp or if you still had your fenrir?
No because I would still be sacrificing a bot and Titan. If I had a Fenrir that I knew could withstand that player then yes I would have ditched. I know the limitations of my hangar and that was too much of a sacrifice losing both Arthur and my last bot - this would then leave both centre and that right beacon open for the enemy to capture.

Q: anybody else noticing more & more lynx going into stealth every few seconds (used to be ophions going into their abilities every few seconds) ???
Now i see lynx in every few matches going into stealth way too fast, ignoring cool down times!
Adrian, how come you don’t level up your bots to lvl 7 for the extra module slot?
I rather use that silver on Workshop and to level up other weapons and robots I'm thinking of playing. Soon I'll be working on maxing out my modules which is the other reason why.
ive been having trouble in my skyros bc i always get sniped by reapers should i switch to loki?
I think I would still use Skyros over Loki. What I would practice doing is moving from cover to cover. I know players all tell me they know this and it's a basic skill but if there's one thing I've learned to do well it's doing exactly that. This is why I'm able to survive so well with lower level robots most times but also why I'm able to take out campers most times. If you learn certain routes on maps you can cover the map very quickly without really taking much damage.

What titan are u aiming for replacing the Arthur
Luchador and Indra although I think Indra is better in the long term. I can actually get Luchador but the problem will be the weapons. For me to build an effective Luchador I need the right weapons (just like with bots). Being that I don't have that yet I'm sitting on my Platinum for now. If I buy the Luchador and then by luck win an Indra from the Superchest for example I would have wasted my Platinum because the Indra really is the better choice. Often times I will do this with robots and it allows me to skip metas entirely - this alone saves me a lot of resources and time.

Hi Adrian. Have you noticed that the names of some of the weapons have all of a sudden changed to something funny. For eg: the gargantua weapon now appears as vaccum cleaner. some weapon's names have been translated into regional language. I dont know if it is just me or anyone else facing this issue? been hacked or what?
How do you get so much platinum? Ive been doing quests but each takes quite some time and only give 10/15 each
Extermination mode. I was getting 200 Platinum a week with Extermination mode levels 1 and 2 although this has since been changed. I'm still getting a lot more than I was previously though but most of my Platinum came from there.

Once you got the Shotgun or Sonic weapons get Luchador. Luchador with Sonic is still one of the best titan brawler and it's easy to get for F2p if you're lucky. Anyway Have a Nice Day and Stay Safe ❤❤
Yup that's the plan although I don't want to get Luchador just yet. I need the weapons. If I were to get the weapons for example and then in the next opening get the Indra I'll go with Indra. I find in this game usually waiting and being patient pays off.
kinda random question but do you think pixonic is gonna nerf the lynx. they all ready nerfed lynx, a light nerf, but same thing happened with seraph, nether, and angler all got light nerfs but then harsh ones after. you think they will do the same with lynx 😢

i think 8500 keys = 1 superchest so 9000 keys at 200% is definitely 2 superchests.

I broke my damage record a day or two ago and scored almost 3.2 Mil damage but it's not registering . :(
That's because the max damage reflects just raw damage. When you get the score at the end of a game it shows both damage and healing. If you scored 3 million but 2 million was damage and 1 million was healing your max damage is 2 million (not 3 million). Hope this explains things.
I am free to play player i literally have a minos, bedwyr, nodnes , and luhadour . Bedwyr is not cool as luchadour although it can heal i have mk2 lynx mars and a ophion and really hard to play 😅😅😅

Not sure what you mean? If I have extra weapons I sometimes sell them or I might sell them if I win say a Limited Edition one. The Limited Edition weapons do slightly more damage but overall look nicer than the regular versions.

Yeah being on Steam isn't exactly the best thing. This has nothing to do with Pixonic though because Valve doesn't allow ads on their platform. I'm pretty sure if they could Pixonic would jump at that opporunity because that would mean more revenue lol. I wonder if Pixonic made the game completely cross platform though… players could then log into their iOS or Android accounts to watch ads but play the game on Steam.

I think the only way to get it right now is a very small chance from the gold black market chest, so it’s a lot more difficult for F2P.

I'm actually wondering this myself because I just played a game using the Ultimate Mender and it seemed kinda weak. Someone reported that the pilots for Fenrir aren't working either.
The fact that your Arthur (yes it’s only level 30) got destroyed by a lynx with those overpowered electric weapons is so sad. It makes your hard worked Titan feel worthless. I have a level 77 luchador and I’m a f2p player, I got no repair amps in it and I get destroyed by a regular robot too, really makes my grind look like it was worthless….
Not really that sad. I don't really have pilot skills and we're only talking about a level 30 Arthur here vs maxed out bot. If my Titan was able to withstand that Lynx then I could only imagine how hard it would be to kill a maxed out Titan with maxed out pilot etc.

I haven't bought Luchador because I don't have the weapons needed to make it effective. Also I would need Titan Repair Amps if I really wanted to survive long enough with that. For now I'm sitting on my Platinum until I either win a Luchador from Black Market or I win the weapons for it. The reason why I do things this way is because should I win something like an Indra then that would actually be the better option in the long run - if I buy the Luchador and win an Indra afterwards all my Platinum would have been wasted. Hope this makes sense.

You probably got it from a giveaway. Just an FYI - with this Baby Account I don't enter it into giveaways and I don't join clans. I do this because I want it to represent the absolute worst case scenario for a free player. If you're doing worse than my Baby Account then I think you're doing something wrong - this could be how you're spending your resources, how you're saving resources, your hangar composition or the builds themselves.

I just saw predator wr video, just wanna say I support you and I’ve unsubbed from MANNI’s channel, he jumped the gun and ruined a good thing for his personal gain. Yes, you guys may have been able to handle it better but ultimately he is in the wrong.
I think everyone is entitled to their opinion but I would never force or push viewers to liking/disliking other creators whether big or small. Some have already asked me to do a video too on that but I don't think it would help the cause - it would just spread even more hatred and more toxicity. Maybe if I was looking for views then I would do it but I'm really not like that. I mean... look at today's video. I've already said that Baby Account videos get me the least views and technically the worst performing video on my channel was a Baby Account lol. But yeah... I put it out because I think there's something to learn from it especially when it comes to newer players. From this video alone they can see how much I was able to save up in a month, how I did it plus how I use strategy when playing against players who have hangars much stronger than mine. If I put out a video on all of the drama that's happening what do viewers or new players learn from that? I think if anything it's more just wasting their time.
