- Bracelet inspired by Square knot (Sailor knot) - Unisex Bracelet - Jewelry can be used for both men and women - How to make copper wire jewelry by Lan Anh Handmade
Can do the same with earcuff, pendants and ring to form sets
With this form you can use any type of wire or wire size you have. Smaller diameter wires are easier to handle, but they are less durable than larger wires.
In the video I use :
20 gauge ( wire diameter 0.8mm ) : 19 x 4cm( 1,6 inch), 3cm( 1,2 inch)
TIPS :
- Before doing, Always be sure to straighten the wire for a more beautiful product
- Can use a towel to straighten the wire.
- Refer to how to straighten the wire here • Basic guide - straight...
- Can be replaced with silver wire or gold wire for jewelry more valuable
Or simply use cheap material like copper wire to make gifts for friends, family or for yourself
- I just give way reference, not the best way. Can change size wire to suit your purpose. You can do better than me.
- I bought all the material and stones in where I live (Vietnam)
I used to round copper wire - magnet wire , it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be normal copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time

For the sake of those who'll at least start to get frustrated, Lan Anh is a pro at this so it will look easy when she does it. It's a little difficult/tricky especially when it comes to putting the two hooks together to form the knot, but with a few tries, you'll definitely get it. Just like I did. Then it becomes really fun!!!

With simple patterns, I'm think of calculating the wire size, how to crimp, Usually successful in the first.
With complex patterns I have to try many times to draw experience then choose the wire size,how to crimp and stones accordingly.
There are some forms I have never done, I have to come 5-6 times to be successful

I made this bracelet last night, omg it’s such a beautiful design. I wore it today and got compliments. I did mine in 18 gauge dead soft and lengths of 5 cm rather than 4cm, because I wanted a chunkier look. For me, I also found it easier to make the tiny loops after I linked the U-Shapes together. Thank you again for this beautiful design.

My goal is to add this work to my sewing of leather and woven material, and machine embroidery fobs and bags. Just a few months ago I got into beading so that I can bead my moccasins.
