These hidden gems from Band-Maid's past performances are so much fun to react to. They show how talented they were from even their beginning. While, they haven't announced any tours outside of Japan for the rest of 2024, I really hoping they will announce some U.S. dates next year (and perhaps some European dates). When they do, I don't care what cities they are playing in, I'm going to be there (probably multiple concerts). I've been to two of their concerts and can't wait to see them again. If they do come to the U.S. next year, make sure you do yourself a favor and go see them.
Looking at this, the thing I find amazing is the confident way that Miku is playing the guitar. It's much easier for the composer of the songs to remember them, also, that Miku had only been playing the guitar for 5 years when this was filmed. I think that it is the EU tour of 2019.
@@randymcmillen647 That would be nice, definitely! But to be honest, BAND-MAID floods us with such a wealth of excellent music that I can't ask for more. My problem is rather a lack of time to listen to them, not the lack of material to peruse.
There are moments of surprise that you never forget because they just blow you away. That's what happened to me in Bochum with the intros to "Clang" and "Moratorium". First you wonder what they're doing all of a sudden and then they start playing your favorite songs right after. Of course we all went crazy.
The crowd was singing pretty nicely. We were able to provide the nice background vocals. You see how much Saiki is enjoying it. She looks like the conductor of an orchestra 😍
I credit Vladimir for furthering my Band-Maid journey, he has shot a lot of excellent Band-Maid shows. I met him at the Dallas 2022 show, great guy! Love the tapping from MISA, first time I ever saw a bass doing that. Great song too!
Thanks a lot for your kind words, Sir! 🙇♂ I have always thought that tapping is more often used on bass than on guitar. But maybe it's because MIYU from ASTERISM is tapping all the time. Indeed, MISA never does it for some reason. I think there was probably a dare challenge from Kanami, who said something like, "MISA, why are you never tapping? You don't know how?" And then MISA answered, "Of course I know how. Wanna see it?" And then they composed this extra intro to CLANG. MISA obviously proved that she can tap, but then she never did again. In the same way as Kanami never uses a whammy bar on her guitar. She has demonstrated in "onset" that she knows how to do it, and then never did it again.
@@VladimirChupin Eddie Van Halen might disagree with you on the tapping, maybe, lol! I've heard of Asterism but haven't checked them out. I'll have to give them a listen.

@@VladimirChupin Hey Vlad don't put yourself down! Your fan cams could possibly be the best raw live experience that I will ever have! I feel a little bit sorry for the Euros as the US and Japan have been getting all the recent tours. However I don't think Miku can ever pronounce World Domination until they conquer the southern hemisphere! I know the world is top heavy but we feel somewhat neglected in my neck of the woods - Australia - and of course other places in the great south like New Zealand, South America and South Africa etc. Cheers mate and appreciate your love of BAND-MAID!
@@grahamblank8367 Saiki said in 2019 that she wants to go to Brazil. I think it would actually be better for them. There is a huge fandom over there, and they have never been in South America until now.
CLANG!!!! WORLD DOMINATION Album…. The whole album is really good for live concert. Thanks for this Wonderful song
This is the One!
Only band maid can have so many awesome songs that you forget some , this fuckin band

I will. Thanks

@@brunobryant4846 I fear they may never make it here! Only one concert in the Southern Hemisphere - Indonesia I believe?

Yes, it was June 24th, 2019.
Glad you found this version with Misa's hammer on bit. I think it's the only one I've ever seen with it.
That's totally a Billy Sheehan and Paul Gilbert bass/guitar duel moment there to kick it off! Misa tapping, woot!!!
Thanks once again, Rick!
Thanks for watching Mike!
Hats off to Vladimir Chupin for recording this and other European Band Maid shows.

Nice! I was thinking that I've never seen MISA-san tap after seeing Wakazaemon of East of Eden and here you go!
It's so good!

Will do Tom

Was... Even "used to be"...
I hope BAND-MAID comes to Europe at least in 2025. It will be six years since their last tour in Europe.
