Thank u 4 the review. Only thing putting me off from buying this, is the fact that they don't give the charger as optional for free. The last Samsung I had was the S3 in 2012.
I bought it for 1 reason. I live in Europe and the FE is the only variant that has Snapdragon. Otherwise I would go with the S22+. I refuse to pay the same prices as US and get an inferior model.
I agree the timing in bringing out the phone wasn’t good. I liked the S20 FE, plus it had the headphone jack and expandable storage. Pass on this one, great video and thank you.
Can you tell me about the haptic feedback? What kind of motor is it using and does it feel good while typing? Im coming from a poco x3 pro with a decent vibration motor but lack of optimizations and it feels cheap.
my S21 FE 5G (Exynos) seems to have a refresh rate bug. There are times when the refresh rate will drop way below 60Hz, causing huge lag and stutters in the animation across the entire UI. Usually, I have to restart the phone for it to be smooth again. However, after some time, the refresh rate will plummet again. I honestly do not know if this is software or hardware related. The phone is updated to the latest version and it also occurs even if all recent apps are cleared. Im not alone? 🙄
Right? I bought it just for the photoshoot of my start up company only. Planning to use it after being disappointed by Note 9, S20, S20 FE all equipped with Exynoss variant here. I will return it tomorrow, never going back to Samsung device that have 2 different chipset. I'll planning to buy Flip 4 though
Im also ve that issue, its seems to happen when the face unlock its active and at the same time the lights around are poor or less bright enviroment, i ve the same exynos 2100 processor, its not a big deal but it bothers me when it happens.
I'm having the same issue. What I do to counter back the problem is simply by activating camera or open high graphic games to boost up the CPU back and the fps. I also not sure what's the reason behind this problem
It's a software bug. I found a simple way to fix it (not permanently, just wait for next update). If this happens, simply lock the phone again and wait for like 2 seconds and unlock it. Done. If the next update still won't fix the bug, then i would be disappointed by Samsung.
I got my S21 FE from my local phone service provider in my country for $500. Loving it so much but sometimes Im noticing frame drops and Im just browsing not even gaming and I need to lock and unlock it. Probably because I got the Exynos.
It's a great phone. My biggest gripe with it is that the standard camera is great, but the telephoto camera and the wide-angle camera are pretty terrible
Love your reviews 🤩👍 always briefly detailed with lots of helpful information without needlessly long video What's the game name on 4:32 ?!.. looks fun and easy on the time
Screen refresh rate bug makes it slow motion phone Unfortunately its been for while yet there's still no fix for it Using exynos, return it after less than week of use
The deal I got on the S21 FE made it $350 cheaper than the S22 base model. Plus Samsung threw in a pair of Galaxy Buds Pro for free. That made the decision on which phone to buy a no brainer.
Hi there! How do i prevent my S21 FE camera turning off after a minute or two of inactivity? I need it to stay on to capture birds at the right time..but during waiting, it turns off.
The Pixel 6 is also around £100 less in the UK and S21FE is about £140 less, so S21FE is still £60 more. I would still buy the Pixel 6, between these two. At $699 it is terrible value and def an easy miss.
I upgraded my main line from a slippery S9 to this S21 and I love the size. It's perfect for my large hands and easier to read the content without my glasses :)
The biggest plus to this compared to the S21 and S22 is the larger battery in this. I have the S21 Ultra and am looking to sell it and downgrade so I can buy a tablet as well. I'm looking at either this or the S22 but the rumored 3700ish mah battery is a big strike against it. 4000-4500 should be the standard for base flagship phones.
Samsung describes the fe as slim and sleek. They forgot 0 grips so it will probably break accidentally from slipping out of hands. 2 month's and no visible cracks. But the first 2 week period. It slipped through my grasp at least once a day

Hey Joshua, I have a option to choose between S21 FE and the Xiaomi 11T Pro? My primary goal is the software and the smooth and fast phone. What to choose?
I see battery life, plus its better than my A70. And smaller. Faster. But the camera on the S22 attracts me a little more. Sadly both only exynos models are available in my area.
This time around I was going purely for battery life and not how the phone performed or even how it looked. I had the S10 and the battery was absolute dog shit, so the s21 FE was perfect choice for it's price, battery and even smoother to hold with the plastic back.

Hi! Im currently sitting on a samsung galaxy s10 and thinking about upgrading, 21 FE came to my mind as well as s22. Still havent decided yet. What is the game you were playing at 4:32, that car game...
whats the game in 4:32 ?
Rush Rally Origins
Now that the 22s are out, what’s your take on the FE?
imo, since im a student, im using the S21FE right now, and im loving it. it handles okay. S22 is a little bit more expensive here in Malaysia, but yea, for a student, i think the S21FE is enough
@@haziqmahadzir how is your experience about battery life?Could it last whole day with a more than normal ussage
I got my unlocked S21 FE 256GB for 285 USD. I traded in my S10e. So far very happy with it.
Just ordered my s21fe 256gb for $419 USD as an upgrade from my s10e 256gb. . No trade, I'm goin to keep it around as an emergency. Solid phone the s10e! Right now they're 50% off for the s20fe 128gb or s21fe 128gb. I got the 256gb for an extra 70 USD though. Hope the s21fe will be a solid phone. May want to trade in for the s22 flagship or even the s23 if it turns out to improve like bringing back headphone jacks and sd slots! How is your phone doing these days?
@@juanleezy5748 it's still working well. I'm happy with it. I got a Galaxy watch4 and Buds2 as well. They work seamlessly. My wife traded in her S10e for a S22+ for 670 bucks. In comparison to S21 FE, just a few minor upgrades. It's got a premium look. The back panel is made of glass and better camera and processor. But I just don't think it'd be worth the upgrade from S21 FE.
@@ruckus9863 hey man could u tell me how would u rate battery on ur phone, thats the only thing right now that would drag me away from buying it
@@ЛукаПопадић I wouldn't say great. The battery capacity is good. Significant improvement from S10e but due to its screen size difference and higher refresh rate(120hz), actual usage time is about the same.
Thank u 4 the review. Only thing putting me off from buying this, is the fact that they don't give the charger as optional for free. The last Samsung I had was the S3 in 2012.
Welcome to having a decent phone in 2022.
I bought it for 1 reason. I live in Europe and the FE is the only variant that has Snapdragon. Otherwise I would go with the S22+. I refuse to pay the same prices as US and get an inferior model.
Yeah, can't get myself to buy the s22 for the same reason.. Guess I'll go for the s21fe, just wish it had a smaller screen
Great video and yes I did enjoy my tea while watching it.
Tbh this looks more like the s22 then the s21 line. Tbh kinda wish this was called the s22e
I noticed that too, the wider rails on the side are very s22 more than s21
what do you feel about this phone now that is cheaper than a pixel 6? Does it make sense to by now as against a pixel 6
I agree the timing in bringing out the phone wasn’t good. I liked the S20 FE, plus it had the headphone jack and expandable storage. Pass on this one, great video and thank you.
S20 FE does not have headphone jack
@@xrayjay6226 bless your soul!
Can you tell me about the haptic feedback? What kind of motor is it using and does it feel good while typing? Im coming from a poco x3 pro with a decent vibration motor but lack of optimizations and it feels cheap.
Can you suggest which color variant of S21FE will pickup least smudges?
Probably white
Another great video! Nice one.. Thanks..
im torn with the s21 and s21 fe i have the s20 but the screen looks like a plane hit a ton of birds in flight.
I'm getting this around 600$ right now as compared to a 1000$ S22 base model. Is it still worth it to go for S22 base model?
No
I want to buy the s21 fe any clue whether its price is gonna drop after the launch today or not??
my S21 FE 5G (Exynos) seems to have a refresh rate bug.
Im also ve that issue, its seems to happen when the face unlock its active and at the same time the lights around are poor or less bright enviroment, i ve the same exynos 2100 processor, its not a big deal but it bothers me when it happens.
possible reason that one UI will reduce the refresh rate to maximize battery life just like other OEM such as MIUI
Probably because I got the Exynos.
the battery drain fast ...is it true ??
@@oussamaabderrahmane3223 the battery is ok, it will last you a day on 120hz on casual use. Not gaming.

Seems like you had a slight batter life problem as well ...
It's a great phone. My biggest gripe with it is that the standard camera is great, but the telephoto camera and the wide-angle camera are pretty terrible
Also, I haven't heard a single review mention this
Love your reviews 🤩👍 always briefly detailed with lots of helpful information without needlessly long video
What's the game name on 4:32 ?!.. looks fun and easy on the time
Rush Rally Origins
What game did you play in this video?
What's the name of the racing game?

It makes more sense for us in Europe, who didn't get SD version of s21 series
Would this be good as a first android? I’m thinking of switching from Apple
Yup this or go for standard s21 if you want smaller like iphone 12/13 size phone.
Right now Best Buy is selling it for $549..... At that price or lower it's an easy phone to recommend. But not at its original retail....
Screen refresh rate bug makes it slow motion phone
Unfortunately its been for while yet there's still no fix for it
Using exynos, return it after less than week of use
The deal I got on the S21 FE made it $350 cheaper than the S22 base model. Plus Samsung threw in a pair of Galaxy Buds Pro for free. That made the decision on which phone to buy a no brainer.
Good Evening Sir JV 💚
So many UA-camrs are oblivious to the fact that there's a Note 7 FE, thus making the S21 FE the third FE phone.
Hi there! How do i prevent my S21 FE camera turning off after a minute or two of inactivity? I need it to stay on to capture birds at the right time..but during waiting, it turns off.
which is a better option, the S21 FE or the new A53 5G?
Get the galaxy s21 FE!!! Its waterproof and support wireless charging!!!!
You are comparing a 30k phone with a 70k phone
@@pumkin_muffins wrong, the s21 fe is 650 euros and the A53 is 400 euros
Let's get the price out the way...there 599 everywhere and less on ebay so ....at that price it's a winner
Upgraded from my a10e, it's a huge upgrade but it was worth it!
Reupload?
I got both s21 fe and the s22!
Im not sure if I should get it for 700€ in offer with a Galaxy Watch 4?
Actually consider the price now over the years or update. The running cost is lower than S22.
Optimisations dude. s21 fe had worse than s21 batterylife by (minutes to one hour)
Just get a s21 plus it gets great battery or a pixel 5a both have great battery life
Is this reupload?
For the S22, I’m excited for the “merge” of the Note and S series of sammy, Note series is my fave lineup from sammy
Yeah. In the last video, he erroneously said the base S21 had no telephoto lens.
This appears to be corrected now.

I've had no problems with my Pixel 6 guess I'm lucky
what did not work segement can these be fixed with the future updates??
Samsung describes the fe as slim and sleek. They forgot 0 grips so it will probably break accidentally from slipping out of hands. 2 month's and no visible cracks. But the first 2 week period. It slipped through my grasp at least once a day

Hey Joshua, I have a option to choose between S21 FE and the Xiaomi 11T Pro? My primary goal is the software and the smooth and fast phone. What to choose?
S21 fe better , if you are not a heavy gamer !!
The other option that is not mentioned . Get the s21 at a discount of you cannot wait for the 22
@Chip Stowe the option I mentioned was to get the s21 for a cheaper price since one cannot wait for the s22. The s 21 can be found for less than 600.
I live in Indonesia and on 1 December 2022 I updated to Android 13!
Where I live they gave this 20% discount + Samsung is doing a 100 euro cashback so it end up being roughly 519 euros 😳
I can get this right now for £300 without discounts or trade in
256gb variant
I see battery life, plus its better than my A70. And smaller. Faster. But the camera on the S22 attracts me a little more. Sadly both only exynos models are available in my area.
s21fe for £100 or the s22+ for £300?
This time around I was going purely for battery life and not how the phone performed or even how it looked. I had the S10 and the battery was absolute dog shit, so the s21 FE was perfect choice for it's price, battery and even smoother to hold with the plastic back.

Hi!
Im currently sitting on a samsung galaxy s10 and thinking about upgrading, 21 FE came to my mind as well as s22. Still havent decided yet.
The reason I bought the s10 over other phones is for its crisp high def screen, its resolution is 1440 x 3040 pixels. Looking over at gsmarena, both 21FE AND s22 have 1080 x 2400 pixels res and 25% less ppi density. Why are screens (arguably) worse on newer models? Whats going on?
However price of 21FE has dropped to 533 USD where I live. Is it worth it for that kind of money or is it better to hold on few more months? Or will a 22FE come out soon?
I wish I could have 1 for my online class🙆
From Philippines🇵🇭
This or the a52s?
Sorry Josh, but the price... IT'S OVER 9,000!!! (In Philippine Peso, of course, and sorry, I can't help myself).
Name of game in 5:01 please
for a country with no Pixel 6, this phone is the real deal.
got the normal s21 5g

The removed headphone jack and SD card support is an absolute dealbreaker...
I have finally accepted that it's time to get upgraded.. times change, technology is better , we can't stay stuck in the past, enjoy the new forget the old
@@LilDevlBtch "Better". TWS-s are in no way better, apart from the fact thag cables aren't in the way. It has a worse sound quality overall, and it is very wasteful, and damaging to the enverionment. (I use both wired earphones and a Galaxy Buds Plus so I tried both)

How's battery life?
does this processor heats up on daily basis usage ??

i dont have it but from one video i watched guy said that they did something strange so after playing demanding games his phone heated up only for a bit
well, i am watching in my S21 FE
What game is that
Portland, JAMAICA in the Building !!!!!!!!!!
My only complaint is xbox gamepass doesn't work. At least for now. Believe it is the Xbox app or development....
Ohhh that's what FE stands for
T-Mobile is giving it away for free with the top data plan, plus trade-in. Pretty much a no-brainer. Got it this past Sunday and absolutely loving it. Only got the 6GB version but the processor seems to handle things like a total pro. I'm sure apps get put to sleep sooner than the 8 GB model, but I'm very happy with the performance of the phone. And the screen is absolutely gorgeous, the battery is strong enough that I keep 120 hz on, very smooth overall.
why not just get a s20FE then and save at least $100 usd?
How about dex support? Is it available in s21 fe
