I discovered Tooley1998 and Lay of the Land here on UA-cam, and had my interest immediately peaked by what I was seeing. I had to try this out, so here we are!
Join me on a new adventure (where I struggle. Alot. With stupid things. Making me look like a total noob).
This game is still in development. What I'm playing is an early access version (version 0.5.0) that I downloaded after subscribing to Tooley1998's Patreon.

It's $5 USD every month. The game is still in development. To me there's alot of content because it's all brand new and everytime I play I discover something, and more is added regularly (there's only one guy making this game, so everything is relative). So far I've not encountered any major hiccups, but bugs and glitches are being reported in the discord. I'd say all things considered; it's worth it. If you are as excited as me you'll jump at it. If it seems interesting, but you don't "need to play this game right now!" you can wait it out, however, since the game is still in development, and I don't know the extent to what needs to be done for it to be a "finished" game, there's no release date as of yet, so you might have to wait a good while. That's really all I can say, the decision is yours.

You need to slow down s bit and read and look around calmly dude. In the how do I craft if you look your mouse there it tells you how to craft. You need to put the objects in the ground together, close the inventory and looking st it until a hammer spear and hold f to select the one you want to create. Probably they will change it in the future since it looks like a pain.
@@andermedievil I know. I was too taken aback with the beauty of the visuals to really pay attention to anything, and was fairly stuck still in the Minecraft way of doing things. I have since recorded 4 more episodes where I figure more things out.
And I agree, it's not intuitive, the way to craft. Most people are probably coming here from Minecraft looking for the next "thing". We're all stuck in Minecraft. After having figured it out though, it's much more of a breeze.
Yeah. That way of craft seems fine in paper but as it is s survival game one needs to craft a thousand if times and doing that over and over would be a pain and waste of time. Hope they changed it back

@@tajskaowo7222 I've since figured it out; you have to pick up the item from your inventory and place it on the ground before you, then press F.
Looks like teardowns engine honestly, that would be sick if everything broke apart pixel by pixel
@@xIcyStarzz-yz7my it's made in Unreal Engine 5. That would be cool if it did break into individual pixels, but I still like it the way it is.
