As I understand it, it's called a "toter," because it totes house trailers/mobile homes. They were trucks with a shortened wheelbase to maneuver mobile homes onto lots, into tight spaces, and between other mobile homes. COE's were favored because they could be made so short. I think that's a very rare bird because they were worked hard and junked quickly. My dad's uncle was in that business in Florida in the '60's and '70's and had two of them --- a '50-something fat-fender COE and a '59 Ford COE. I love cabovers.👍
I know that you said it was used for hauling mobile homes, but that style reminds me of an old tug that would tow planes on airports. The army had many Dodge dually trucks converted into tugs for that purpose.
Big fan of your channel I like all the tracks that you have it makes the video more interesting and that new mechanic you have he is awesome he’s a real hard-working mechanic I think he deserves a raise. Keep up the good work keep making more videos. Thanks.
