I wanted to say thank you! Thanks to you I'm investing in Syntheyes, if only because I have such a valuable resource of free information. I am learning VFX on the job with no senior to guide me along, so I'm adopting you as my mentor through your tutorials. You have a natural ability for teaching - if you are ever looking to freshen up with a different type of work environment, do look into teaching/instruction because you're amazing at it. Not everyone has the talent required to reach out to the mind of the student and make things as clear as possible as it would appear to the student, and you sir have it good.
hey, I have a question. Lets say you have already completed your solve and undistorted the footage. After hopping into your 3D software you notice you need to track and solve additional trackers that will help you where to place geometry. How do you later add additional trackers and solve them without ruining your entire optimized solve ?
Mocha has nasty little things they hide about itself. It's not great for precision matchmove. But I still love Mocha haha It's amazing. they even leave track errors in their adverts. It doesn't have the required tools for a good camera solve unless you provide it data that it can't calculate. But again I use it for anything I can ha Love it.
Been using PFTrack for 4 months, and rn I'm switching to Syntheyes. Thank you so much for this tutorial!

Gold Mine
9:30 Is shift tracking works only in forward direction, not in reverse? Thanks
Would you consider making a list of the mentioned keyframes and listing it, either downloadable someplace, or even in the description?
For me it's not automatically interpolating between my keyframes it jumps on my keyframe how to make it auto-interpolate?
best beginner tutorial!
nice
